That's right, I'm making another anime thread! I just finished watching Irregular at Magic High School (Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei) tonight and want to know what others have been watching recently. Please don't post if you don't watch anime, and if you don't know what anime is: Let me Google that for you
I can't bring myself to watch the current Fairy Tail arch. Too many force feed information episodes to drudge through just to get into the action and understand what's going on.
I really enjoy shōjo manga/anime and Vampire Knight is my favourite right now, but i am fond of less well known manga series and also fan of Yaoi... not going to elaborate on that except its known as Boys love
What's your opinion of Noragami? I have heard a lot of disappointing things about Vampire Knight being incomplete. Is it worth watching though? Also, pretty sure YourLittleNeko knows plenty about Yaoi anime. Yes. Watched the whole arch. Was not disappointed. 10/10, would bring future enemy to bring past dragons again.
The changed 12 celestial spirits. Pretty sure the first 5 episodes of that arch are nothing but them explaining what's going on. I'm about two episodes in and haven't been able to touch it since cause it's rather boring.
I saw Fairy Tail, I want in. Meanwhile, been enjoying Nanatsu No Taizai. Not very far into it, but interesting story. Noragami was decent. Good enough to watch and enjoy but at the same time kind of slow. I do believe you would be in a filler arc then which explains why its boring.
It was a good anime in my opinion. Although, there are some scenes where they are naked or being a pervert. Other than that it was interesting. Some parts may seem creepy but it was cool and better than some animes that I have seen. I would reccomend that you watch it if you don't mind pervert/naked anime people. Just warning you. I'm not gonna give you any spoilers but it was really interesting and cool. It actually got reccomended for me by a friend, she just told me to watch it and I had no idea what it was about. I thought it was good but, that is only my opinion. EDIT- There are only a few times where they are being perverts and I think at least once they were naked.
Yea. Nothing like forced exposition to ruin the mood of a mainly action oriented anime. .-. Ecchi anime isn't much of an issue with me. I'll check it out then.
I alway skips fillers for this reason. A lot of the time, they are poorly implemented. Bleach is a good example of this where they quite literally dropped filler arcs in the middle of other ongoing arcs and forced as much content as they could.
I understand some filler archs to buy time while they hash out the next arch/continuation of the current arch, but yes, Bleach did a very poor job with their timing. Naruto is another offender, but *gosh darn* if I don't love me some Naruto, even the filler.
When I started reading Naruto, I basically dropped the anime which was a very long time ago when I only really knew about it through the English dub on cartoon network. I know Naruto included a lot of filler arcs for some of the tailed beasts that weren't really shown in the manga, but I don't really know of any other fillers. I assume I would have treated them like any anime with them and skipped them.
