There had been forecasted ice, sleet, Frozen rain, and snow for last week... On the first day (Monday, 2/16/15) only ice, sleet, and frozen rain fell. On that night a Mother and son where on I-65 south Franklin. As they were driving along I-65 south they witnessed a motorist crash, they got out to help, and they were hit by a Semi killing the Young boy at the scene. The mother died hours later at a local hospital.
