I noticed when I logged in today, with a new in game name I am unable to open my private chests or use /home. I am able to use /kit donor25.
Will the user/name be fixed across the server, or on a one by one basis by request?

I'm unable to give you the coordinates of my island as I am unable to return after going to Grass.

Old in game name: garybwatts
New in game name: ProfGaryBW

If I do have to create a new island, I can deal with that. I would just like a spawner put in my inventory as I don't have access to the one on the island.

You'll have to wait until the server updates to 1.8 to possibly retrieve your island again. Though I can try getting to your island and breaking the lockettes.

 

Thanks Larry. I can wait until the update to see if the lockette fixes itself. If there is a way for you to tp me back to my island I would really appreciate it.

In the mean time, contact a mod and they might be able to help you find your island. You can then sleep there in a bed to use /homes there

 

I contacted a Mod in-game and it is being looked into.

Not resolved yet. I just tried to do /home and the message came back "You don't have an island." "If you would like one type "/newisland".

 

The best way is to contact a mod in game. I found ur old island, it's still there.
When you get tp'ed there, make sure to sleep in a bed so you can use /homes to get there.
This glitch will be resolved soon when we update to 1.8 to support name changes

I put the coords to your island as hidden but any mod can see (even the blue ones)

 

Hi again. Krissy tpd me back to my island and broke the locks so I could get into my items. I still get the "You don't have an island message if I try /home. I'll stay on my island until this is fixed.

You can sleep in a bed while it's night, that way you'll be able to do /homes.

Also,note down your coordinates so that if you lose the bed you can be TP'ed back by a mod

We cannot remove old islands, especially if you've done /newisland replace. Don't worry though, no one else can access the old island now that island protection is in place. The old island will get overwritten by someone else, or eventually be deleted by Skyblock's island creation plugin.
