I've never gotten advertisements on the forums until very recently. Now whenever I log onto mineverse or skyblock, there may be two or three pop-up ads, which are extremely annoying. Does anyone know why this is happening or how I can fix it?

Do you mean like regular ads that are just on the bottom of the screen/side, etc. or do you mean like actual pop-ups?

There's one at the bottom that I didn't get, as well as one that always pops up.
I use ad-blocker, if that helps.

If you're using the pop-up blocker feature of Google it should stop ads like this, however here's a site that may help you as only you know the full situation and I don't really feel like playing 21 questions. Pop-ups, redirects, and other malware - Search Help

I never realised SkyBlock had ads. XD Try AdBlock on Google Chrome. It filters them out perfectly~ ^^

Duuuude... i think you got a virius that doesn't look like a normal add, the link below it and the pop-up on the side, go to "Uninstall programs" on your computer and see if anything looks fishy...
But if its only skyblock and such then its just an ad, get adblock :b

I had this issue from a browser hijacker. You may want to check your program files for suspicious programs, plus full virus, adware and malware scans. Sometimes this type of virus likes to change your homepage, so you may have to check that out too.

A factory restore with all your backups will work, although try using Adblock.

    I just used Daddy's computer thread but he left mineverse ;-;
But all he told me was a "simple re-install" works.

Get an AdBlocked, that malware. The ads at the bottom is recent things you have searched. But pop ups are malware.

Those aren't normal ads, as they said above.
I had this problem because I got a virus that attacked my browser, my anti-virus would realize the virus was there, but wouldn't remove it, just block it .-.
When I got my computer fixed they removed it, but I'm sure with the correct anti-virus I could have found it.

Also I'm not sure if it's cookies advertising similar things to me, but I get ads for another minecraft server; like if you get to choose the ads then I'm not sure that's the best idea to have that on 'ere. If it is only cookies, then theres not really much we can do

The add are showing because a program has been installed on your computer. Adblock works for adds that haven't been installed. What you need to do is below:

    1. Go to control panel
    2. Click on uninstall a program

    (Specific steps next)
    3. From your image posted, scroll down your program list until you find a program called 'PassShow'.
    4. You can either double click the program or click once, and click the top button called 'Uninstall/Fix'
    5. Follow the prompts from there.
WARNING: read the uninstall prompts very closely, as some will try and install another app to replace the one you are trying to uninstall

I get the same add plus. Whenever I look through my apps, the add creator apps are there
BTW: you don't need to install other apps to have adds installed, they just do it when you leave cookies in certain websites
