Sell redstone comparators at /warp donor for a couple of diamonds?

 

How about we dont do any of this and I stay happy No but I see this as a bad idea. Most people would get mad about the prices dropping for rares and what not.

 

No support because this is supposed to be a rare item and putting it in the shops would kind of ruin the whole "rare" aspect of it

 

I agree with Incomposed wouldn't it be simply easier to sell the comparators and just upset less people?

 

it would upset people but paying 9-20 diamonds for redstone is just ridiculous for me. I would say that they can sell the quarts for like 10 diamonds or so because people try to rip u off

 

I'm divided on this topic.

I do wonder what kind of impact having a lot of comparators would have in regards to server lag (if any). If there is a lot of machinery, wouldn't there be an increase of lag?

 

I mean selling the comparators in a shop. And people are not paying for the redstone, they are paying for the quartz. I could easily be against this topic because I just spent 10 diamonds on a pair of comparators, but I am actually choosing to be progressive for once. The best agreements are reached through compromise, because when one side gets exactly what they want it leads to further conflict with the other

 

There is already lots of redstone, so this won't make a difference. In fact you can make less laggy contraptions using comparators than with other redstone

 

I support I think the price would have to be more but still I think they should add redstone comparators or raw quarts

Why?

Well, my redstone machinry uses comparators to check if a sugarcane has grown. Well, seeing as I cant use comparators, il just automate it to push out all the pistons every few seconds ... this means; a lot of noise on my end; and more server lag in the long run, on everyone elses end.

Tldr;
Full support from me, i was supposed to not find it in shop today for just this reason. (Lag)

You used to be able to buy it in the shop, but it was removed.

 

I did some research and I found that back in Aug of 2013 nether quartz was sold at warp grass. I am not sure of the exact date and time that it was removed from warp grass but it happened sometime between Aug and Dec of that year. Back then it cost 1 grass block per 8 nether quartz. So, armed with this new information, I updated the original thread to reflect this

Just add Comparators. Raw Quartz should remain rare, We already lost the source blocks, how many more collectible items need to become worthless for people to see that a big part of the economy works on the basis of the rarity of items. The Market would be flooded with Raw Quartz for a while, until the demand is satisfied and what then? Will we sell Raw Quartz for 1 grass apiece? I say it should remain rare but Comparators would be very useful if added to the shops.

 

Nether quartz is used in 1.8 crafting recipies, and in daylight sensors. It would be easier just to add it. Yes. A few people would be mad, but the majority of people would be happy, and it wouldn't really hurt the people who get mad, and they would cool off after a month or so.

 

Besides, it's just a game anyway. No sense in getting too worked up over it.
