Let's pretend there is GroupChat. Let's say that I receive an invite and accept it. What if it's spam? What if it's a bot advertising another server? Moderators won't be able to see every single GroupChat.
Then I have to take the time to report it on the forums, which isn't the purpose.

You'd be surprised how many players have Skype. Not many have Teamspeak, on the other hand.

You would be amazing on a Debate Team lol. You will be able to ignore those request and Mods will have logs to any suspicious chats and Don't forget about [PwnFilter] I haven't seen a single person say a curse word I think hes doing a good job. And if you don't want to do groupchat then you will have the option to /ignore all forever!

and /pc would be player chat to see everyone type
    etc idk

Im actually reconsidering this a little, i mean nets chat is spammy. I mean then moderating group chats? I think its best to communicate through other means as opposed to putting a plugin we gotta put up with, especially if mods cannot turn the darn thing off.

Sadly I do not give support for the following reasons:

1: Mods need to moderate the chat if a player has been griefed/bridged.
2: If a friend typed in the chat EG: Player: Hey Happy! I would not be able to see the message.

Whomever bumped this thread should be warned for gravedigging.

Skyblock is a community. It shouldn't be segregated.

By having a separate chat channels it would lessen communication. What if a player needs help or has a question? Other players may not see it. It would make the divide between them even stronger.

Wanna talk to your friends? Teamspeak. Skype.

    No support.

P.S. And if this were implemented, there would be spam of:
    hw do i change chanels????

The owner of the thread bumped it, so it's all good.

Also I support because some people dont have access to teamspeak / skype.

Definitely possible, need the go-ahead from CypriotMerks or Noobcrew though.

    Commands:
    /groupchat <start|leave|invite|kick|toggle|spy|globaloff> [player]
    start: Start a new groupchat.
    leave: Leave the current groupchat.
invite: Invite a player, leader only.
kick: Kick a player, leader only.
toggle: Enable or disable groupchat requests.
spy: View groupchat messages. For sneaky people.
    globaloff: Turns off global chat.

    Permissions:
    groupchat.use : /gc <start|leave|invite|kick>
    groupchat.toggle : /gc toggle
    groupchat.spy : /gc spy

This seems like an excellent idea. It would cut down on spam do to all the players using the main chat. Full support. Definitely. :)

Many players trade and run shops. If players are in a group chat, they won't see those who are looking to buy/sell stuff.
