Single Notification from Profile Posts

    Alright, so...today I got over a 100 notifications when I woke up...and half of those were from a single profile post. Currently, notifications from threads work like this:

    'Someone replied to something. There may be more replies after this'

    However, notifications from profile posts work like this:

    'Someone replied to someone's status.'

    And thus, a notification is sent to you from profile posts every time someone replies, and thus it's possible to get thousands of notifications from a single profile post at once. This just clogs up your notifications and can get very annoying. So why not make it work like normal threads, where it just says: 'There may be more replies after this'?

    Not sure if this has been suggested before, but I don't see it, so...yeah. ;)

    Sorry but I'm going to have to go with no support, I like that feeling when I get a bajillion alerts and feel like something happened, it's amazing until I check them to realize that they were just profile posts
