Faster than 1 week?

 

I gave up on my mod app when I first made it. I realized I could just keep trying and hope for the best. So I made my mod app again and I still hope for the best. I will keep doing what I always do. If I try hard enough I may be able to get mod. I have seen so many people give up on mod. Why make a mod app if your not even gonna try. If your not gonna even try your mod app is worthless. People who try and are helpful deserve mod. If you want to be mod and don't really help people they should start helping. Of course, if you never help or are not online that much you loose support.

True. A lot of people complain and become bitter when they don't get promoted, but that just makes things worse.
Stop comparing yourself to others, stop blaming the system for being "unfair" and most importantly, don't give up~

Because you're trying for a reasonable around of time, someone creates theirs and within a couple months they're a moderator. It's just a bit eugh, although as I don't play for mod, I play for the game and the community, sure; it'd be a nice achievement to recieve, but it's not the be all and end all for me. I think it's partly bc of my ratings because people enjoy rate abusing me, great fun.

 

Actually, Cyp is quite unfair when promoting, especially on Mineverse.

 

I'm not gonna agree/deny. But either way, people should still keep their chin up and stuff.
If you're determined, then stick with it.

All I can say is, never give up, always have faith in yourself.

 

Getting mod is based on popularity. I swear. Approx 9/10 mods were already very well known before getting mod, and most supports were from their multiple friends.

 

He doesn't exactly base it all on support anyway. And at many times when people make a mod a other players pay more attention to them. And if they are really helping out others in the meanwhile, of course people are gonna know the player and of course they are gonna support this player. But of course there are some players that indeed are popular beforehand.

I agree that getting Mod is mostly a popularity contest. I rarely see any Mods who weren't extremely popular beforehand. There are a few Mods I know who really did deserve it though, so I guess everyone has a chance, no matter how small it may be.

 

Or perhaps as people are in the community, they gain more popularity. Take source, for example. Four months ago, he joined the server. He always helped out, but wasn't too popular until recently. If this were a popularity contest, why haven't people like Purplevillager01, Supapah, etc. gotten mod yet? They are/were quite popular.

This is a thread trying to get mod applicants to not give up on their apps, etc...and here you are bragging about how fast you got mod o.o If I were one of said mod applicants ^ I'd be pretty discouraged by what you just said.
