Hi, my name is JacobOR and I am a student that attends Secondary College, I am in year 8 and love playing video games (particularly in Minecraft), eating (lots), going to the Bluelight disco, the Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit, Marvel (Avengers etc.) and the Justice League. From the day I'm posting this I've been playing this server for about a week now and I've really come to love this server and hopefully by becoming a moderator I can help this server grow. (if yes, why?):I have never been banned on this server (and intend never to GET banned) How long can you be active on the server everyday? I go to Secondary College still so I will not be active from 9:00am - 3:30pm on week days(unless I'm on holidays, which will add another 2-4 hours to my availability for every day of the week) Monday: 3 hours and 30min - 4 hours and 30min Tuesday: 3 hours and 30min - 4 hours and 30min Wednesday: 3 hours and 30min - 4 hours and 30min Thursday: 3 hours and 30min - 4 hours and 30min Friday: 4 hours and 30min - 6 hours Saturday: 14 hours - 16 hours Sunday: 10 hours and 30min - 12 hours and 30min Why I will make a great moderator: I think I should be a mod because I am kind, not quick to temper, helpful and I'm motivated to do all that I can to make this server a better place. If I became a mod I would obey every rule and enforce them no matter what, but if someone needs, I could also aid them in rebuilding their island (if it was griefed or worse) and I can also be a fun person to hang out with on Skype. I am not racist, sexist or stereotypical in any way shape or form, I will try as hard as I can to keep equality on this server. If I were a mod I'd be able to bring justice swiftly instead of having to report the culprit and wait until the moderator respond, that way, this server stays a peaceful place for players to have fun without the pain of getting griefed or stolen from. I will keep in mind the power in which I wield, but will NEVER abuse the power for my selfish goals or just for the sake of it. Most of the time when I'm on there's one moderator, but, as they say:"Two heads are better than one". I feel I could be a great moderator because I am very active, try as hard as I can to make things peaceful on the server and most of all, I'm willing to charge in head strong at the work it will take for me to become a moderator. Key traits and skills: Observant: I always keep a close eye on chat and the people around me, just in case someone's causing trouble. Patience: I am not quick to temper, so if a griefer or thief is being a handful I'll be able to handle the situation preventing more violence instead of provoking it. Honesty: Honesty is key when dealing with things like accidentally picking up someone's stuff, when this sort of thing happens, I'll try remembering the person's name and say in chat "Hey man, I've got your stuff, go to warp skybase and I'll give it back", (and if I didn't see their name, I'll wait for the person, guarding their stuff until they arrive to pick it up. Reliability: Most of all I am reliable, I will solve all problems that come my way (unless they're out of my field of work) with swift but effective action. Do you have any past experience as a moderator: No, I have never been a moderator or anything remotely related to the job but I am hoping I will become a moderator because if I do, it will be a learning experience, and I'll know what to work when in positions like moderator in the future.
I felt that this app was well written, thought out. I didn't see any grammatical or spelling errors that were major. I will provide 40% support mostly because you are new to the forums and because you have little experience with modding.
Great app and you seem mature and helpful but I think you're a little too new to the server. Once you gain some experience and I see you in-game more I'll change this. 50% support for now
