About 7 months ago, I took a break from Minecraft and recently came back. Before I left, I was saving up for the donor100 - Skygod upgrade and had a stack + 49 diamond blocks so far. When I came back, nothing was wrong: I still had the correct amount of diamond blocks. Although, after purchasing several items, I realized that I was out of diamond blocks and a beacon were missing. At first, I thought it was because I spent it all, but I added up the amount of diamonds that I spent and it added up to approximately 300 diamonds. The rest of the diamonds, about 717, which is (64+49) times 9 and taking away 300, and the beacon, were gone.

Sadly, I did not take screenshots of the diamond blocks. Luckily, I have a picture with the beacon in my hand (this picture was taken a little bit before I took the break). Although I don't have a picture of the diamond blocks, I was able to find a picture on my computer which seems to show an IRL deal for how I got the diamond blocks (I somewhat remember us negotiating a little bit, so it's likely that the amount of diamond blocks ended up matching what I had).

Hopefully the picture with the beacon is enough for that item, but if the picture of the deal for the diamond blocks is not enough, I will look on my computer again to see if there are any screenshots with it. Thank you for taking the time to read this, I really appreciate it.

 

Long ago, something similar happened to me, but at that time, my whole ender chest was wiped, which can happen due to file corruptions. In your case, only some of the items disappeared, correct? Hmm...maybe you took them out & moved them somewhere? I often think some things are missing, but end up finding them in another chest. (Sometimes we unconsciously take items out & place them somewhere else without noticing) So...the only suggestion I can give you is to track back your steps & check any place that you may have left your items behind.

Hopefully this can be refunded...but I doubt it can be refunded completely, considering you don't have an 'actual screenshot' of the items you lost.

 

I checked all of my other chests countless times to make sure that I didn't move them. They weren't there. If I was able to find the one that I made the deal with and see if he maybe had a screenshot of my diamond blocks, could I be refunded?

 

If the chest you traded in is still there, I think it could be used as a proof of the trade. (If there are logs left behind that is)

 

I don't know if the one who I traded with still plays. Also, I made the deal months ago.

Alright, so since the player doesn't seem like she/he'll be online anytime soon...hmm...

 

If he does not come back online anytime soon, I know that I won't get my diamond blocks back.
But, since I had a picture with the beacon in my hand, would it be possible for me to still get refunded for that?

No offense, but you literally have no proof for the diamonds to be returned, and your story doesn't seem to be that credible. You're saying that you came back from a break, all of your diamonds were there, you spent some and now they are all gone. That story is very vague, and provides no details about what exactly happened. It sounds like you somehow lost them or made a bad trade, and are trying to get them back. Also your story about straw makes sense, as he did become a 50 then 100 donor from in game items.

 

I never said that my story wasn't vague. I know it doesn't sound believable, but I keep track of how much I spend and it didn't add up. Also, about Straw, I only put in the picture of my chat with him because if he had evidence then I could use it.
