I appologise if this is the wrong section, i do not know if it fits in suggestions and also if there are other forums on this subject.

One thing that I love about being a donor on the server is that you get acces to the colors in chat. I use them in almost every one of my chat messages and I like to use a lot of different colours in my posts aswell. I recently got kicked for colour abuse after I had used a lot of different colours (All the colours of the rainbow) all in one chat message, and that for me is something new. Exactly why is this a rule? I honestly do not see this as a problem. This is also the first server I have encountered with this problem; Using different colours in the same message. The colours are there for a reson, and I don't think it is fair to set a limit, you can use one colour in the message, but if you use four or five, it is automatically colour abuse? Colours are meant to be used by players who want to spice things up, If there is going to be a limit on how many colours you can use in a message, why even bother to have colours? we players are probably not always going to use the same colour in the chat, (since there are a variety of colours to choose from) and it's going to be mixed colours if you look in the chat. By this logic, isn't that colour abuse as well then? As long as you don't spam the same message over and over (with or without the colours) or write offensive things, (wich is against the rules, and these rules makes a lot of sense to me) I think that you should be allowed to use as many different colours in your chat messages as you want to!

If someone will please explain to me why there is a limit on colours in the same message, I will try my very best to be openminded!

 

But what is you seek attention? If you are auctioning something out, colours are helping a lot!

 

I did, and I agree on most of it, but I have been on the server a lot lately and I don't see people using chat colours that often. I didn't mean the post to be encouraging to write a lot of colours, just that if you do write with more than one colour from time to time, you should not be kicked without a warning in the chat from anyone first. If someone is bothered by me using many different colours, I obviously won't do it, but the reason i found this odd, was because I wrote one message with colour and no one complained, but then i get kicked for reason Colour abuse 10 seconds later.

 

But that looks cool! Why is that annoying and why am I the only one who doesn't see that?
