I'm working on a build that involves a colossal waste of grass blocks and I was wandering if they would spread to regular dirt blocks?

Make sure there's plenty of light too, that helps grass spread. Place torches temporarily around the site to help speed up the process, and make sure to stand around (even if AFK) near the area that you want the grass to spread, since the server only processes areas with players nearby.

Yeah, I figured that too so I added torches. Thanks for the help.
