Imo it serves no use to make one public since it takes the whole point of even making them unless u want them as a decoration. Anvil is kind of a goal that u need to reach if u want to rename/enchant with books that isn't even that hard to reach.
There are public anvils at seasonal builds usually. For instance, Warp Christmas and/or the Holloween Pumpkin (It had over 60 inside!) that was located at Spawn. As for the suggestion, sure, everyone would love it...but if we keep adding these items/blocks into public warps, the point of SkyBlock'll be gone in no time. Instead, we should encourge players to aim to collect iron & craft iron. There are also quite a few players that let players use anvils for free/cheap price at their island. For those in need of anvils, just message me in-game & I'll let you use mine.
I think at special occasions there should be anvils. I think public anvils are good but at the same time removes some of the challenge in gaining the resources to make one. Anvils are one of those things that people don't need and is a luxury but then again is useful. Imo every so often Cyp could place a couple of anvils at warps and players can find them and use them and when they run out, they do and you wait. So 50% support
This is a fairly good idea but... I'm with SourceForums If there is public anvils then that will take away the point of trading for iron and in no time it won't be as fun. Personally I wish I had an anvil or 2 but I only want them and I don't need them. - Cuddly
The achievement with anvils are that yoou save the iron up and craft the anvil etc. etc., therefore if we get rid of one objective, where's it going to stop? We'll just get rid of all the things that you can accomplish, and in no time skyblock'll have no meaning behind it.
People saying it ruins the purpose of obtaining an anvil. An anvil costs exactly 31 iron. Most donors get at least that much in their kit. It won't hurt. Who cares if people don't craft anvils anymore? They're useless anyway. If we have public anvils, the iron could be put to better use. Support.
Well, there are anvils at /warp skybase, aren't there? Otherwise, crafting one will do just fine (if iron can be found).
There are no anvils in SkyBase. You can earn iron mainly through trading if you don't have kits...so really, it's not that hard.
