Hey, So I was trying to make a different signature today than the one I used to have, and when I finally make a custom signature with 3D and everything, it says I can't post it because it is too long. When I asked people, many people said that they can't post signatures because they are too long. I think that signatures should be able to make signatures however long they wish. No support. If people choose a very long signature it may end up spamming a page and only allow like 5 comments per page.
There is a reason that we can't. It spams up the page a ton. The mods can have longer sigs, but only the mods because there are a lot less of them.
Honestly the character limit should be extended a little bit more. I believe it was almost extended but was forgotten. Maybe to 150? I think it's at 120 currently.
Well, I had this signature as a mod... and it completely messed up my forums experience with huge lag. People with large signatures also caused my lag. I don't think longer signatures that would allow bigger pictures should be allowed, but in terms of text it isnt a bother. I am not the only one who gets this type of lag from pictures im sure, there are people out there with slower internet speeds and maybe weaker computers.
