I need a skelly grinder on my island. Like I really do lol. Soo I can provide the spawner for the grinder, but nothing else. If it requires cobblestone and a bit of redstone, I can provide that, but if anything else, you must tell me what they are and I can see if I can provide it. If not, I will pay an extra 4 iron blocks.

What am I paying?
3 diamonds. Plus 4 iron blocks if I cannot supply some things.

Why do I want this?
For some bows for dropparties and warp mob and maybe some armour for dropparties. Also, I want to donate some to megadorkvikki

 

Benono is the builder for me. He has built everything I've needed. He's usually online around now. Ask him he'd do it in sure

Here's mine. I've kind of integrated it into the underside of my island. Does the trick though. I can share the pattern if you wanted to have a go yourself.

 

As an aside, I have had mine up and running for a while now and despite seeing numerous mobs in armour, they have NEVER dropped them. You may be better off trapping and killing them. That way you also get the XP.

 

skeletons do not drop anything except bones and arrows unless you manually kill them. So auto kill machines work fine for bones. But if you want the armor you gotta do the work and swing at them.

Well, you won't get any experience from that. Just so you know, the grinder can only wprk if you're around the spawners, as that's how Minecraft works. (I.e. It will only work if you're standing around doing nothing; so why not give them their final punch while waiting for experience? )

 

True. I can make modifications. What I was thinking, was that they will spawn, water will push them to hoppers and I will hit them and they will die and their item drops will fall into the hopper. Can you do that?

 

Because you can go AFK and they will just harvest the arrows and bones. You are correct about the chunks too. It will only spawn if you are in that chunk
