-DarkSummoner Hello. I would like to start off with a thank you for taking my moderator application into your concerns. As many people know, I am DarkSummoner, or better known as Summoner, and I have tried before to get people to notice my application. Sadly, not many people paid attention, and its now left way far back, in the heaps of dust on the forums. I am here today to try again and tackle this application head on. It's been a long length of time since I've posted, therefore I've changed in many ways. Let's get into things. Your In-Game Name DarkSummoner How old are you? Fourteen Years From Birth What timezone are you in? The Pacific Time Zone. West Coast. What country do you live in? The Good Old United States of America. What languages do you speak? English (obviously) and Chinese (say what?) Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?) Sadly, I do have to admit I have been banned once before. It was on skyblock.net. Back when I was playing, in the good old years of 2011-2012, there was this one warp. I believe it was called, PureNotchIsle, or something of that sort. Back then, everyone really wanted more grass to sell to the villagers, and dirt to make farms on their islands. It just so happened that the island was griefable. So when I was younger, I thought to myself, "Free Dirt!" (Please note: I saw others breaking the island and taking the blocks too) So as soon as I broke the first block, BAM, I get kicked and it says "The ban hammer has spoken!" Why do you think you should be a mod? I believe I should become a moderator because of these reasons listed below: 1. I am trustworthy and unbiased. As a result of my previous ban, I have learned to not grief or do anything that breaks, bends, or surpasses the rules. I will not ban for petty reasons such as a troll book that I used money on in auction. 2. I try to always remain positive. For example, whenever people have an accident, such as get scammed by some unfeeling player, I always try to help them, teach the assailant a lesson, and help them regain some of their lost possessions. 3. I believe that I am humorous and fun to be around (though some may not think that xD) Nobody likes a boring mod, right? While I'm on the topic of comicality, I would like to say that while I'm on the server, I do enjoy cracking a few jokes and making some players type "lol" in the chat. 4. I'm responsible. You can always trust me to pay off debts and return favors. Also, if you entrust me with a certain task, I will try to complete said task in record time. As stated above, I will not ban others for biased, small, or revenge reasons. Nor will I kick and mute for the same reasons. 5. I'm outgoing. I will not hesitate to defend one person against the threats or attacks from another. I also will not hesitate to mute or kick if provoked by threats, spam, or hacks, enough people tell and convince me to, and if I believe it is fair. 6. I am mature. I'm not always fun and games. If there is persecution, threats, evident hacking, or extended and serious scamming, I will handle the situation maturely, gravely, and will not show any humor until I am sure that they have changed in a better way and returned the stolen items (if scamming). What qualifications do you have? I used to run my own server (until some creepy person hacked it and deleted it entirely) and I have experience with plugins such as Bukkit (I know about 4/5 of it) and CoreProtect (I know about 1/2 of it) (I think CoreProtect is mainly for Developers though. Correct me in the comments if I'm wrong) I also think I'm qualified because it is currently the main server I play on and I spend most of my time on it. How long can you be active on the server everyday? I can be active for about 1.5-3 hours on weekdays, and about 5-6 spread out hours on weekends. Or you may like to see something like this: Sunday: 8 AM-10 PM Spread out time Monday: 9 PM-11PM Fixed Time Tuesday: 9 PM-10:30PM Fixed Time Wednesday: 8:30 PM-11 PM Fixed Time Thursday: 9 PM-10:30 PM Fixed Time Friday: 9 PM-11 PM Fixed Time Saturday: 7:30 AM-11:00 PM Spread out time How long have you been playing skyblock.org? I can't say exact times but I've probably been on for 1.5-2.5 years, or you may know it as the times where Gwism came on very frequently and the spawn was enormous. The spawn had a food shop, a drug store, a main shop, a farming section, a nether section, a main section, and a locked chest example. My forum account date does support this because I created my forum account a bit of time after I joined. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I do in fact, have past experience as a moderator. As stated above, I used to be the owner my own server with survival, bukkit, and CoreProtect (I got a friend to help me with that) I was a moderator on three servers, I think. Two were shut down because the owner didn't want to pay for it anymore, and I forget the I.P. for the third server. (i cri) Also, I was an administrator on one of my friend's servers, which was a semi-popular survival server with a number ip, before he stopped paying for it. I really like the app, if I'm honest. I've seen you ingame a few times helping, and you seem like a really good natured person. The only way I think you can improve is by not having as many colors in this - maybe stick to one or two and be more active on the forums. As this is a very well written application, and I see you online often helping, I'm going to give you 90% support right now. Become more familiar/active to the forums and I'll edit this in a month or so c:
