So recently I have found out that some people when they make ramen keep the water instead of straining it. I did not know this until now. I don't know whats more common and would like to know. I personally strain the water and keep the noodles Do you keep the water so the ramen is like soup? Do you strain the water to have it just as noodles?
well I do it like this: #1. the soup way #2 the fried way (strained) #3 the make-ramen-your-pizza-topping way (strained
I do keep the water, but, I only use just enough to cook it, not enough to really make it soupy. And I don't break the noodles. I keep them long and loose.
I don't drain the soup because I don't like my noodles dry. Alternatively, I usually add a bowl of rice to the rest of the soup after I'm done with the noodles so I don't waste it xD
Don't break the noodles, pour out about half the water, put what's left in a bowl, add seasoning packet.
