If new villager trades come out when server goes to 1.8, What items should villagers trade?

I wanna here everyones thoughts

As for the discussion, hmm....I think they're somewhat fine for now, since all the new items/blocks in 1.8 are craftable with the current items in the trades & on the server. However, it would be cool if Cyp/Crew can balance out the trades according to the new economy.

 

I don't know, to be honest, I wonder if sponge will come in now, given it's now a useful passive block, though as we know, it's illegal to trade so...

 

From what I've heard obsidian generators don't work in 1.8, if that's the case they might what to sell obsidian. Otherwise if someone loses their lava, they will be in strife.

lol, you wont be the only one. but new players will need obby if they lose their lava bucket and they wont be able to pay you much for it, for that reason I think it should be sold by traders.

 

Indeed. I'm probably going to give them to the new players anyway And I'm sure there're many more players that'd be willing to do so. :3

I don't see Crew and Cyp putting much effort into this server, so I doubt there will be a plugin to fix this most of there attention goes to the mineverse.com server that crew owns because it is larger and they get more revenue from that server.

 

Maybe just the new items.

 

We need the new Diorite andesit and granite blocks as those can only be crafted with raw quartz
