Essentially i figured the best possible way to get food would be to make a mob grinder. Get some zombie flesh, and maybe some bone meal. But apparently on my own island mobs cant spawn. I was hoping to get villagers of my own without using grass, getting farms set up for animals. But i cant do any of it. It kinda ruined skyblock for me. Is there any way that I could set up my island to allow mobs? I was on for four, maybe five hours with four people, trying to get things set up for this and all we did was waste our time.
Hostile and Friendly mobs are disabled to spawn naturally. The only way you can get animals and mobs are spawners(around 3 diamonds each or buy /kit spawner ($55)), /warp grass also sells various animal spawn eggs and you can go to /warp mob for mob drops, (just be careful cause you can loose items at /warp mob), or a skygod can spawn friendly animals on your island. For you to get food /warp animal works just fine, it may take awhile to obtain a lot but it gets the job done. I can spawn some friendly animals for you if you see me online. My IGN is TortoiseSpeed. Note: For Spawners Zombies and some other hostile mobs are disabled.
Mobs are disabled on the server, if you would like to have mobs on your island, you can buy spawners or even get a 250+ donator to spawn them for you.
