Firstly, I applaud you for actually talking the time to reason your no support, and describe how you felt.
Focusing purely on the activity points you mentioned, I do ask, what makes you feel that I will be unable to be as active as I once was? The bigges reason behind my resignation was due to the fact that I was short on time. Do you really think I would re-apply if that was still the case?
You say that my past actions as a moderator do not represent how I will be in the future, but again, I do not see where you got this information from, as from my perspective with some of the mods being as inactive as they are, and many more leaving, what thy need on the team is someone who doesn't have to learn the ropes, and can just get straight back into the position.

Whilst we're all speaking of Barn's level of maturity; I've had the pleasure of getting to know him a little better and even to get to work with him:

Really all I can say is, he's a good guy, does know when to be serious, knows when he's needed and when stuff needs to be done he sets his mind to it.

During the short time I've been on this server and been a part of this community I haven't encountered a SINGLE staff member nor player who acts maturely at all times. And don't even begin throwing around ridiculous statements of how you actually are "acting seriously and maturely during every possible instance of the day." Don't even fool yourself, you're not, and that's totally fine. There are, however, people who know when to stop fooling and get their act together. Those are the people who can make a big difference and actually be helpful. You'll hopefully be happy to know that Barn is one of those people.

I don't even have to explain why I support this. You were an amazing mod before, and you'd still be today.

 

"no longer fit" I am sorry, but clearly have never been on too see how much he assist in game. Barn has been working hard for it, even when he didn't have a mod app out. You can still see that little part of mod in him. He's a good guy, and he deserves to be back on the team. Also, just because someone has resigned doesn't mean that they lost all of what they had.

Every single person here on the server has a different aspect. A different talent or something they're strong in.
Barn has the experience, and he has done a lot to help out the community. If anyone deserves it, it is Barn.

"I am sorry" I am too, you people seem to get overly sensitive about criticism, what do you think a comment on an application is for? Sorry, its not just for "Support, you were a great Mod!", if I want to voice my opinion of him and have him try to improve on it, that's my decision, it's no place for you to comment on that.

 

I may as well say 'Im sorry' as well, because the last sentence in your message contradicts everything you said prior to it, being that you're now commenting on Dewmellons opinion.
