I don't necessarily agree with it, but I mean, it's pointless to censor it in one spot and not another. Either all or nothing.

Yes, they will eventually learn these words, but it is not down to us to let kids learn these words premature. If you were a parent, you wouldn't want your child going on a game that should be child-friendly, to come back asking what these kind of words mean.

Exactly how I feel when people start talking about weed.
I feel, to cater to all ages and mindsets, swearing should be allowed but in the right context.
No swearing against other players, but cursing the dirt for falling into the abyss should be fine.

I mean.. If you really feel the need to swear about a piece of dirt, you can easily say it out loud to yourself instead of going through the process of typing it..

Support. Younger kids shouldn't be seeing it, nor anyone else. If you have to swear, either censor it or put it in a spoiler.

If this happens, "Damn" and "Bastard" better not be included.
I don't understand how they're on the same level as "f***" and all that. They're not.

    I simlpy don't understand.

I agree they're not at the same level as f*** and all that, but, they're still a swear word, no matter how severe offensive they are. I mean.. You wouldn't want your eight year old child running around using damn and bastard nor would you want them to be exposed to those words, which in turn, would teach them those words.
    and this^

    Well, in all honesty.
I really wouldn't care much about what kind of language they would use or learn.
As long as they realize and know how to talk to people (different authorities and such) and adapt their language after that, I really wouldn't mind.

Especially if they're talking with friends, or at home with family.
It's how I've been doing and talking all my life.

Support to reinforce the rules. Not because they're swears.

Swear words have no meaning behind them, unless they are used in their literal sense.
"I f***ed a girl" would be literal, and makes sense.
    "f*** you" makes no sense.

The words in the context we use them on 90% of the time make no sense! and should not be offensive in any way! because they aren't meant to be offensive. But since they already are, no point in not blocking them.

I believe this is just an issue with the version Xenforo we are on. It was fixed in one of the newer updates, but we can't upgrade yet due to the add-ons currently installed. Until the updated version of Xenporta, smilies add-on, etc are updated we can't update. So this issue will be fixed sometime soon, but can't set a date.

I remember reading about it on Xenforo forums, and yes I'm buying a Xenforo liscense :p. I've played around with the demo for hours.
