Simply put, it's using any means to bypass a ban put in place for whatever reason. Be it purchasing a new account, borrowing one or tricking/blackmailing a mod into illegitimately unbanning the account, to give a few examples.

You can't compare apples to oranges. Mods always prefer to Ban the player responsible for the actions whenever possible. This applies for any situation.

However, Mods are not omniscient, and we cannot see past the accounts to who is physically using them to commit offences. So, while the objective is to Ban players (prevent them from causing trouble on Skyblock), sometimes the only alternative is to ban the account that was found performing the illegal act.

My question then is: When does ban evading apply?

To an account which got banned months ago, but the player used an alternate account to "evade" the ban at the present day. However, at the present day, the old account is unbanned, but chat shows that the player admitted that he was playing on the alternate account, because his old one was banned.

Why does this not count as ban evading? Whether its the past or present, the chat clearly shows a proof, and the player broke the rule(s). Player should be banned for this.

EDIT: And do the mods take account of their donation to the server when making a decision on situation like this? Because if they do, then its pretty much bribing situation here and mods aren't doing their job right? Whether or not you paid 250 to be a SkyGod or not, one BROKE a rule, and one ADMITTED the he was ban evading.

Mods take ban evading very seriously, since it defeated the purpose of being banned. If you have evidence that someone had ban evaded please feel free to send it to me or post a report on the forums and we'll investigate into the matterr

They ban whomever is responsible for the offense, on whatever accounts they own.

Once the main account was unbanned the alt was unbanned. This happened with the ban list clearing thus we could not punish the player. It was too in the past to punish for, if he gets banned again and we know his alt, we can now punish for ban evading when he does something wrong.
The punishment for ban evading is having the account you ban evaded on banned, so you may no longer play, so you are forced to wait your punishment for the ORIGINAL crime you did. Ban evading may add days onto the original crime if the mods so wish to take that into account.
You accuse mods of considering rank in decisions now? No we DO NOT take "bribes". Ranks do not determine the final outcome
There is more than just what you see when dealing with reports. It was handled, there was nothing more to be done. And that was explained to the person making the report.

Haha, my apologizes Krissy, I did not mean to accuse mods at all. I was asking whether or not mods do or not.
I just am dumbfounded on one of the players who was ban evading, however, due to lack of evidence, the alt account wasn't banned, even when there is substantial proof in the screenshots and previous ban appeals of that particular player.

I just wanted to know that in case like this, how does a screenshot of him saying he is playing on the alt account because he was ban on his main account, how does a mod take their decision that its not a ban evading? I'm just bit confused on this decision. Then again, I cannot question your decision, just bringing up a point to all the mods. Thats all.

Des stop trying to find pointless loopholes in the rules. It's just flat out annoying at this point. You know what the rules are, and what they mean. Don't nitpick every single word a moderator has ever said. Just stop

If you are banned on server:
Using alt to join server = Ban evading
Use your forums account to appeal.

If you are banned on forum:
You can create an alt to appeal/get help or info on your ban, as xenforo bans are extremely limiting. No other use of the account is allowed, and must be abandoned if appeal is accepted/denied. Else, ban evading.

    Am I right?

Here was my alt from when I got hacked: HACKHELP

I'll find the loopholes if needed to, as moderators seem to find loopholes against me as well. And I don't need any loopholes for a few reasons,
    one, im unbanned already.
    two, i'm a god.
    three, im still a god.

    3. You're still a God.

    God = 3 Letters.
    #3 = God = 3 Letters

I'm too high right now. hahahaha
