Alright, title says it all, I'm suggesting different channels of chat be implimented to .net, like how .org works, but instead of Local, Global, it would be Trading, Discussion, Staff, this way Staff can talk, and still be PM'd for help, but they won't get all the chat spam and questions in chat, and so all the trading spam goes on in one channel, it would work out a lot better as now it's just a giant clutter of chat, hope this gets added.
Well I would support this, but then it would be so quiet. Maybe that you can enable them all, but also can disable 2 or 1 and enable 1 or 2? Then you can choose yourself what you wan't to hear, or how quiet it is
Moderators still would need to be able to see that chat. But seems so support. They could add the plugin for org with /chat 1 /chat 2
To be honest, I feel like the mods would hang in their channel socializing with each other and may not realize players need help. The mods already use Teamspeak to communicate.
This is a great idea! But I think just trading and discussion, like megadorkvikki said, the mods would hang out in their channel and not release that other player are trying to talk to them. But I think the other two channels would be perfect!
The reason the Moderator channel would be added is so that when a Moderator has to deal with something they can go in a channel without being spammed, and just deal with it in a more calm environment, I see it happening too often that chat spam over weighs chat/messages, also, Moderators aren't required to have TeamSpeak Vikki, and if they do, they are allowed to decline the rank on there, so TS might not always be an option.
There already is a staff chat 'channel'. Trading and discussion I support, so long as mods remain to see all channels at the same time.
Moderators see all channels. I think there should be global, local and trading. It'd be great. Support.
