Do you really think that's the point! It appears that there is no limit on what profanity, or offensive structures that I could build on my island. If they dont drawn a line, then they can hardly claim this server is G-rated. I got in trouble with my mum when she saw this, so how can you say this is kid friendly. especially when the moderators seem more interested in protecting these structures and its owners.
I'm sure you'd get plenty of volunteers to help build you a wall between you and next door if it's that offensive. On the Island next to me I have a grieved mess, once owned by the guy who grieved my island. He's banned and it's destined to stay in its current form for a long time to come. Just gotta learn to live with things.
Ok, thanks Krissy, I'll ask CypriotMerks to take a look and get the final say on it. But from your comments it appears it is ok for anyone to build what ever they please no matter how offensive or vulgar. I'm really surprised by this.
You have creative freedom, this is what makes skyblock so fun. There are so many other island out their with fairly "offensive" content. Just because your island is near one doesnt mean the rules are going to change unless there becomes a new rule. Again its unfortunate you spawned there. But there is a way to change the location of the island you spawn. You just join a coop, wait 5-10 min, make a new island. It is kid friendly. we keep the things people see regularly kid friendly and the things like islands that are not seen by the public and none of our business unless they are breaking the rules. I have had to leave some pretty offensive signs that are worse than that statue because it is not my place to destroy them.
I understand that what you seen wasn't what you intend to be appropriate, but one does have the right to build anything they'd like to on there island. It's the same thing, when you go on a creative, plot server. One has the right to there imagination. If this person likes things like that then so be it. There is nothing illegal about his island. So you happened to find and see his island isn't their fault. I'm sure you can just build a wall, I'd be more then glad to assist you with it. :3
Changing islands will only place another 'unfortunate' individual in the same spot. I've messaged Cyp, I'll wait to see what he says.
I'm also sure I could build a wall, and it appears that I could make it so offensive that my neighbor would be forced to build a wall as well to block it out. I'm just surprised that the staff aren't able to draw a line between what is right and what is wrong. I know that this is a tricky situation and don't envy the mods in having to deal with it, but by not dealing with it, I or whoever comes after me, has to.
CypriotMerks could we please have your official say Hidden Content: **Hidden Content: Content of this hidden block can only be seen by staff members**
Welcome to being my neighbor. If you dont like it, leave. Your island is fresh and not even built by you. Oh and have fun getting any of the inappropriate structures on my island removed, theres 22 just like them.
Oh just a small addition, you're asking for them to be removed and asking for staff opinions, yet have zero clue as to who built every last one of them. Staff. And that's AndrewD360's skin, not Barnaby's
Wait...how are so THAT close to his island? Nevermind that, if the vulgar images are really too much for you to handle, I can help you build that wall. Whatever is on his island is his property and his right so it's best to just leave it and do something on your OWN island if YOU have a problem with it. So yeah. Inbox me or something. We can make that wall all colorful and stuff
So you agree that they are inappropriate and you say that staff built them. Well that's interesting then.
It's an island, get away from it if you're offended. I could care less what people think of what's built privately on my island.
Good point, so we have a server that although being 'kid friendly' has inappropriate structures built by staff members, and when kids see them, they are told by staff members that it's too bad, and I just have to put up with it.
