My idea = a 10 minute lotto!

I've only been able to be on .ORG for mybe 15 mins. When I do the lotto after it ends, I have to wait an hour before it starts again. My idea is to have a 10 minute lotto as well as a 60 minute lotto. The 60 minute lotto would be $250 for a ticket, whereas the 10 minute lotto would cost $75. This pervents people getting huge sums of money in small amounts of time. You could type /lotto10 buy to buy a ticket in the ten minute one, and /lotto60 buy for the hourly one. They could also have different names to prevent people getting confused.

What do you think?

This seems like a good idea, but it would require another plugin. Since we do not currently have a dev, it would be very difficult.

Okay im gonna be again a negative Nelly sorry all, i kinda think that having the hour lotto helps make a lotto total that makes it worth it whereas a 10 minute lotto will make an average total of around 750 (or there abouts)

Well it's only ten minutes so you don't have to wait long - that's the point. AND, if the tickets were the same price, people would go for the 10 minute lotto because it gives you more chances of winning money in an hour. Howegver, if the prices weren't the same it's almost a sub-lotto, you could say.

Sorry, I'm going to have to no support. I think the lotto is fine the way it is because once an hour is enough for people to buy their tickets and also enough time to do other things on the server. If you're not online whilst the lotto is being drawn you can do /lotclaim to see if you won. Having a lotto every 10 minutes will make it so much more insignificant and unimportant.

I don't see why not I mean, the shorter lotto would be cheaper anyways. Smaller reward for some of the less patient I guess.
