I love playing spleef, however now that I have several players saying they are unable to see my character I feel like I am cheating when I play. Any official word would be great. I have stopped playing, sadly, because of this but I would still like to know an official word on this. Thanks Krissy
Players on 1.7.10 are able to see you, it's only 1.8 players that cannot, and the fact that you yourself aren't doing anything to cause the other players not being able to see you means it wouldn't be against the rules, this can be easily fixed by them switching versions, also, you are still able to be beaten, it's not making you invincible in any way, so I'd say this is legal, I may be wrong, but for now I'd just say keep playing Spleef.
Hmm..I wouldn't say it's cheating, but it may be unfair to players who aren't able to see you. Nonetheless, if you really like to play it, I would say to just keep playing :3 Like Vampiric said, you might want to switch to 1.7 (if you haven't already) until, hopefully, this gets fixed.
its them being in 1.8 :/ anyone in 1.7 can see 1.8 people, but 1.8 people cant see others in what im guessing is 1.7 and earlier, maybe can see other 1.8 people but idk your fair, its them that needs to switch versions lol
All in all Krissy your not doing anything wrong. I'm sure your not the only player that is using 1.7, so this should not stop you having fun playing spleef. Hope this issue is resolved though!
