Before I begin my application, I'd like to thank all those who bothered to check out this application. Any feedback; positive or negative, is all appreciated. Thank you!

Hello ladies & gentlemen, I'm Eric, currently living in Australia. Before I further introduce myself, my IGN (In-game name) is SourceForums; more commonly known as 'Source'.

I was born in South Korea in 2000, and I've lived there ever since for over 10 years. Then, I migrated to Australia in 2011, for educational purposes. After studying very hard, now I attend Australia's second best public high school, which I'm very proud about. Well, enough about the personal details, I hope you enjoy this moderator application & please leave behind feedback before leaving~ Thanks!

I am currently & is planning to stay in the AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Timezone - UTC +10:00) for the next few years. This timezone was always & still is lacking the amount of moderators it require. There's often many players asking for moderators' help, but most of them are often offline or AFK (Away From Keyboard).

I was born in South Korea & lived there for over 10 years, thus I'm very confident & fluent with it, in all aspects - reading, writing, listening & speaking. (+1 Korean) [Ingame Rules in Korean | 한국어 서버 규칙 | Skyblock Forums]

When I came to Australia, like I've stated in the first section, I worked very hard up to the level where I can call myself completely fluent with English. Currently, this is my most comfortable language & naturally, I'd give myself a point for it. ;) (+1 English)

Currently, I'm learning Japanese at school - not too confident with it, since I'm still in the learning stage, but I can carry out basic conversations in Japanese. I'm planning to continue the study on this language all the way through high school & into university, so keep that in mind. (+0.5 Japanese)

Sadly I have indeed been banned once before. However, that was a complete misunderstanding. Here's the link to the ban appeal related to it, so please read it & decide for yourself whether or not this count as a legitimate ban: [SourceForums] Illegal trading [Lime] [Resolved] | Skyblock Forums. Other than this, I've never been banned (Excluding the temporary glitch bans by the console) for a proper reason, and I can proudly swear that I never will.

There are many reasons why I believe that I should be a moderator:

    [Mature & Responsible]
Firstly, I always approach things in a mature & oriented manner, as I believe that this is the best way to gain one's respect & make them respond in a similar manner. This is my number one rule when I'm doing anything online - to stay cool-headed, mature & use common sense in whatever it is that I'm trying to do, no matter how bad or frustrating a situation is.

Also, I take any sort of job, whether they're small or large as a big deal & always act in a responsible manner, always keeping the following in mind:

By being irresponsible or acting in an immature manner, I'm defacing the entire community & the team I belong in.
If I were to be a moderator on SkyBlock, I'd work as one in the exact manner as above, and you can definitely count on that.

    [Dedicated & Active]
My extreme dedication to this server is better summarised with the word 'addicted'. I try to do everything for the sake of the server, including helping out other players both in-game & on the forums, voting every day (I'm always at the top~), creating various guides on the forums.

Even during the school times, I tend to check my email whenever I can, to view my notifications from the forums! I often end up spending the entire day on SkyBlock (Not sure if that's a good thing, but I'll throw it out there).

    [Experienced & Knowledgeable]
I'd call myself extremely experienced in becoming a moderator. Not only have I been moderators on other minor servers a few times, I was a major Bukkit plugin developer, and attempted running my very own server (I closed it down ages ago, so it's not advertising...I hope) a few times. Thus, I'm very familiar with all the commands & how plugins work; which allows me to be able to explain the details on plugin bugs, commands, etc. to players asking questions about them.

Not only that, I have read every single official posts written by Cyp & Crew (The In-Depth Rule is deeply inscribed into my brain, thanks to me attempting to translate it) and therefore have a very deep understanding & information on the server.

    [Trustworthy & Honest]
For as long as I could remember, the number one rule in my house was to be completely honest, and thus being honest almost became a habit for me now. If there's ever a situation where I'll have to explain my actions, I'd be completely honest, no matter the circumstances.

If I were to be banned for a legitimate reason, I'd accept what I've done completely & quietly wait for a pardoning over time. I can assure you that you can completely trust me with anything.

[Enjoy Helping & Working to my Fullest]
Ever since I was young, I enjoyed helping others, and I always loved to see them smile (Even if it's through the internet) & show their gratitude. Even today, I'm always volunteering in anything I can & participating in all things that may possible be of aid to others. Naturally, I work to my fullest on all occasions, and you can count on me to do so. ;)

I truly do enjoy helping others in every way possible, and I can promise you that I will continue to have this mindset if I were to be a moderator on SkyBlock.

    [Skills]
I possess various skills that others may not have. Firstly, I'm very fluent in 2 languages, and you can expect it to become 3 soon. ;) I also possess quite high English grammer skills & excel in other academical subjects, as I studied truly very hard in order to enter the current school I attend.

I'm also quite talented when it comes to technology, as the people around me tell me. I studied all forms of technological skills for the past 3 years, and I'm sure that this will come in handy if I were to become a moderator.

    [Organised & Formal]
I'm very organised - up to the level where I've been diagnosed with mild OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). I cannot stand something not in place or not in order. By keeping everything in order & organised, I believe that this will give a good impression on the entire staff team & make the whole community look neater.

As you may be able to tell from my threads & posts. I always try to be as formal as possible (Although I do joke around with people sometimes). It is to my belief that the staff team shouldn't have anyone with an informal attitude.

    [Considerate & Observant]
It is to my belief that becoming a moderator isn't just about being mature & punishing players in wrong. If I were to be a moderator, I would never, under any circumstances punish a player without through investigation. Sure, it may be somewhat frustrating for the reporter. However, it is to my belief that the anger & the sadness coming from a banned innocent player is much worse than this frustration.

Thus, if I were to be a SkyBlock moderator, I would always check every loopholes, reasonable possibilities and the situation more throughly before taking action.

I'd call myself one of the most active player on the entire server. To be honest, I do prioritise my education over SkyBlock; so during exam blocks & other sudden occasions, I may not be able to be as active as much. However, generally, I should be able to/am active on the server as following:
I have never been a moderator on a too large of a server, as I never tried out due to various reasons. (I am trying out on SkyBlock, 'cause I just love the community so much) However, I have been a moderator on servers exceeding 20 - 30 players, which isn't really too much of an experience.

However, I have been a quite large Bukkit plugin developer, thus allowing me to be a developer on other various servers. As mentioned before, I am very familiar with all the major Bukkit/Spigot plugins & commands. ;)

I have to say that you would be a good mod. 100% support. I have never seen you online, but I assume that is because of time zones. You have a nice, detailed application with color and bold. I will ask you to make the colors (yellow) darker or easier to read.

    Good Luck!

I think you have a great app, I see you in game helping a lot. I think you could start helping on the forums as well, but I feel that you will do a good job as a mod.
