While I may be new to the forums, I know skyblock and have been with it for a while. I was hoping we could set up some rights that the players have, as skyblock is a growing community.

Constitution​

1. You have the right to report! If you see anyone doing anything against the rules, you can report it!
2. You have the right to record a moderator's behavior! This includes their player, chat, and/or conversations on skyblock. This is vital when it comes to an appeal, to see if the moderator punished unfairly or without reason.
3. You have the right to appeal! If you are banned and believed you deserve to be unbanned, you can appeal!
4. You have the right to leave! Don't like how the server is acting/running? Then leave! You aren't forced to be here!
5. You have the right to play in a safe environment! If you feel as though the server/your island has become unsafe, you can report it! This is necessary to keep the server clean! (This means bullying/breaking the rules).
6. You have the right to trade! Want more items/new items? Trade! **Trading is only allowed if it is LEGAL items or NOT A SCAM**
7. You have the right to a hacked client! **Only these hacks are allowed!!: http://www.skyblock.net/threads/acceptable-hacks.11728/ **
8. You have the right to donate! Think the server is amazing? Donate! **Charge backs are NOT allowed.**
9. You have the right to say no! Don't want to trade? Say no! Don't want someone in your coop? Say no! **You may NOT say no when someone asks you to leave their property**
10. You have the right to agree/disagree! Don't like an idea that the server has, you can disagree! **You may not spam a disagreement**
11. You have the right to suggest! Want something new in the server that the server doesn't already have? SUGGEST IT!
12. You have the right to vote for the server! It is optional, but rewarding. **This just means the server as a whole, NOT moderation positions**

Post ideas in comments and tell me what you think . I hope this becomes official! If you have a suggestion that I like, I will add it!

On the second one, unless a Moderator is actually, validly abusing, and you have proof of this, there's no need to record conversations with them, reports that are more of an effort to get a Moderator demoted because he/she banned or punished you for rule breaking are discouraged Also, I don't really see how a "constitution" is needed, there are rules, and players are aware that there are forums.. just a thought, appreciate the effort but I just don't see how it's needed.

 

This really is just a different way to look at the rules and general knowledge about the server...I suppose it could help someone that doesn't understand it in the way they're officially presented. But if you want this to be a real thing, number 2 has to be edited. You would not have the right to record a moderator's actions outside of Skyblock to use against them in a report or appeal, because anything that happens outside of Skyblock is not our responsibility. Moderators should not be handling appeal business and such outside of Skyblock anyway.

 

Why is skyblock being taken so seriously these days, like really it's just a server and minecraft is just a game....

 

also "only these hacks are allowed" that list is severely outdated lol, and there are some that are alright that arent listed

 

If anything, made by mods.

Players would just make things like dirt trade legal.
