I need some help with my MC, anyway getting to the point, when I connect to a server (any server at all) I can not type "hi" or any commands in the chat. I'm only having this problem with my dads internet. I've been trying to find a solution on the internet and nothing seems to be coming up, can anyone at all help me?

 

Hmmm, I don't see why, I would talk to your father about calling your internet service provider, they could help you the most.

 

Well you see I don't think its that. I can play any other game/use the internet just not mc. but I will wait for some more input with other solutions. but thanks

Re-install Minecraft. Do you get an error message when you try to type?

Did you disable chatting under settings?
