On Skyblock I am unable to chat. It has been going on for a little while and I have no clue why. I would appreciate the ability to chat again as it has been annoying at times when trying to sell things. If I did something wrong I am incredibly sorry and would you at least tell me why. I have a screen shot of me trying to say hi and the chat saying "Cannot send chat messages".

I am also unable to trade with villagers. I do not know why this is happening, I have know idea why. Again at least tell me why this is happening. Every time I right click on a villagers nothing happens.

Most likely a moderator has muted you, how long has this been happening. Or you have chat messages turned off.

 

It's your settings, check them over.

 

I don't think its a mute, isn't the message when you speak while you're muted different?

 

I got the same message when I set my chat settings to Commands Only.

And as already said, the villagers are not working for some people due to the 1.8 update, it always happens this way, it's nothing with your minecraft and we apologize for any inconvenience. For now, just trade with other players.

As far as trading goes, see if any of your friends can trade with villagers, or try to find a trustworthy person.

I have fixed the chat problem and have been told that the not able to trade thing is a 1.8 glitch. You have helped my island mate sumopanda911 before and she never got a chance t o thank you so sumo says thank you. May I ask for you to come back to our island and unprivate the chest. thanks!

 

Tell sumo it's no problem
Ask a mod ingame to unlock your chests, my computer is out of order right now.
