Hi, I am blitzcomet_ (my IGN) and I recently purchased the donor $10 rank. I am still happy with my purchase, but I am a bit disappointed that I did not receive my chicken pet as promised on the perks for the website. I am not going to sue the server or anything, but I think that it should be taken down from the website, and maybe added in the future.

Another fun suggestion I was hoping for was player heads in game. Maybe donors (or possibly all players) could get a kit that contained their own head (or maybe Cyp's or Noobcrew's for fun) maybe every week or so. I think it would be a fun decoration block, especially since players can trade them and use /hat to wear them.

The only problem I see with this, is that people could scam and grief these, and they would provide more reasons to try to grief. However, one easy fix to this would be one of these 2 options.

1-Allow players to choose a "grief mode", because some players would like to grief, make an option where you can grief, but you can be griefed. This could be toggled with a command possibly, such as /toggle grief so players that do not like raid can easily not participate. Another idea I have that would go along with this would be that /toggle grief (or selected command) can only be activated once a week or so, so you cannot grief and then toggle it. Also, this should only be accessible by the owner of an island, or possible TRUSTED coop people (see option two below).

2- On an island (skyblock), NOBODY can break any blocks except for the owner of the skyblock, and TRUSTED coop people. Let me explain. Many have been scammed (including me) about letting someone join an island and getting griefed. So, you can make an option for skyblock owners only to allow members to break blocks, and nobody else. For example, maybe /coop trust <player name> so people can only build with an owners permission. The only ways that these will work is that nobody can break blocks on the island except for the owner (and the trusted coop people), and (obviously) moderators and admins. I believe that this will be a good solution, because you obviously cannot put a lockette sign on every single block on your island, and raiders are out there.

3-Any possible mixture of either of my ideas that might be beneficial for players on Skyblock (.NET)

My ideas are not completely flawless, but I feel that they can enhance gameplay in Skyblock! Thanks for reading!

 

1.8 disables echo pet since there isn't a update for 1.8

 

No grief mode either tbh that's dumb :/. It's your choice if you add the people to your coop. I disagree to that as well.

 

These suggestions would all be very difficult to add...

We can't just throw heads into the economy like that. Nobody has access to their own head, and putting Cyp's or Crew's heads into the economy like that would cause some problems, as they are an extremely rare item. Don't feel down about not getting heads though, occasionally Cyp and Crew will host a drop party in which they release a certain number of custom heads into the economy, such as the pumpkin, bunny, and santa heads that have been released. I'm sure there will be more drop parties in the future

We had something like the grief mode you speak of a while back, it was called "Hardcore Skyblock." Basically, it was Skyblock as you know it, but with no rules. PvP was enabled, and you could grief, loot, and bridge to your heart's content. But yeah, that's gone If we had this grief mode, it would just be way to complicated. When a moderator sees a bridge, they'll have to figure out if it's a bridge breaking the rules or a bridge built in "grief mode," along with finding out who built it, where it comes from and where it leads to, what was griefed or looted, and destroying it.

And for your second suggestion, what I said in the first line. Just too difficult to add, for something that isn't really too necessary. Make sure you can COMPLETELY trust someone before you invite them to your island. And if you still happen to get griefed, make a report on the forums or tell a mod in game. They're there for a reason, they have the tools necessary to help you and get your items back.

Oh, thanks for that. I can see how my ideas could be extremely problematic for everyone; I did not think of that initially. Thanks for your insights, hopefully I can post something better in the future! P.S. Although the suggestions wouldn't work, it would be nice if there could be some sort of consolation for the Donor ranks. On the website, both pets and a "god" class are advertised, but because of 1.8, neither EchoPet nor MobArena has been enabled. I can see what you mean though. Thanks! EDIT: I am also a newer member who isn't experienced at SkyBlock, and I appreciate you not saying stuff like "you suck" or "shut up" and giving me encouragement instead.

 

This is about the perks for Non-Donors:

It would be extremely awesome to maybe see a kit sapling, or something like the "Donor" kit on .org. I feel that maybe most non-donors don't have anything much to start with. I don't know but as Fizz said doing something like Heads, that would throw off the economy so much, since that heads are considered "Rare".

 

For the head part I do not agree, do not ask why I just don't.

 

And also CypriotMerks can fix pet chicken, are you sure your even typing the correct command in?
