Just recently Fintan238 and I have been confronted by some people on the server who have asked us:

"What mini games are there?"
"What can I work on besides my island?"
To these questions we can only respond with spleef. So we have decided to think of some mini games that could be introduced to Sky block.net. We have thought up original ideas (Games) and If they are on other servers please tell us and we apologise.

Mini games​

Skymaze - In this mini game players will join using /skymaze j(oin) and like spleef when the previous game has concluded the next game will begin and the players who have joined will be transported to a lobby for that game.

In this game, players will begin at the same location. ( entry to maze ) They will be able to move freely and individually as they must try and find the gold block. The first person to jump on the gold block will be the winner. The block will change location each race.

Bowzone - In this mini game players will join using /Bowzone j (like spleef when the previous game has concluded the next game will begin and the players who have joined will be transported to a lobby for that game.

In this game, players will begin at different locations. They will start with 1 bow and Unlimited arrows. They will be able to shoot the arrows at other players and receive points for doing so. After 2 minutes the player with the most points wins (1 hit = 5 points) In this game when you die you lose 3 points and respawn in the arena.

Rapids - In this mini game players will join using /Rapids j(oin) and like spleef when the previous game has concluded the next game will begin and the players who have joined will be transported to a lobby for that game.

In this game, players will start in a boat on a start line. When the race begins, the players will have to get from start to finish! on the way they will have to avoid obstacles e.g logs and wood blocks. First player to cross the finish line wins

RULES!

In all games no players will be allowed to do the following

• NO Flying
• NO Destroying Blocks
• NO Hacks

PRIZES

Fintan238 & I are thinking about making the prizes 1 grass block or iron ingot for a win on any game. We are not sure and we would love your ideas about what the prizes should be!

 

I think Skyblock should stay a server with spleef only cause it's a skyblock server not a mini-game server. If you want minigames go to Mineverse. No support.

 

If its's a SkyBlock server, then why is there spleef in the first place? Obviously Cyp or NoobCrew wants there to be something else for people to do. This suggestion was to give some ideas. Also, theres only 3, its not like we are creating a whole new "minigame server".

 

Well fin, they added spleef because its a fun add on to it. I know it may be only 3 minigames, but many threads were made about these.

 

Well Jelly, I just think that adding just a few more would create more fun and possibly introduce new players.

 

And I respect yours but you know me well enough to know that I like to get my opinion cross and heard

 

Jelly fintan and rocky I think we should because as fintan stated if it is skyblock why would there be spleef. With minigames people can be entertained and when bored have something to do. SUPPORT!

Naaah, sorry, but no support, Because this is a Skyblock server Not a Prison server.
It would only get more hackers, glitches, lag and etc etc etc... Mods would have more work to do besides banning griefers, bridgers and etc....
These things have been suggested more times and were not added.:L

If this is so why do you believe we have spleef? Also it wont cause much lag at all. Mini games will get more players online and it would be awesome to expand the skyblock community!

Well yeah thats true, but even from there i hear (really) alot of people spawmming chat: Hacker in spleef, flyer in spleef, kill aura in spleef etc etc etc... (It hurts meeh )

 

This sounds fun. I'm going to code it when I have a little time, just for personal use.

 

There's not much point in making this suggestion if you haven't found the plugins for these games. Try looking on bukkit to see if they are already made . If not, no support since someone will have to make them from scratch.
