January 1862- Battle of Mill Springs.
February 1862- Fort Henry and Fort Donelson fall to the Union army. The Union takes Control of Nashville.
April 1862- Battle of Shiloh. The Union takes control of New Orleans & the Mississippi River.
December 1862- Battle of Stones River.
January 1863- The Emancipation Proclamation becomes Effective.
September 1863- Battle of Chikamauag.
April 1864- Battle of Fort Pillow.
November 1864- Battle of Franklin. Lincoln is reelected.
April 1865- Confederate General, Robert E. Lee surrenders to Union General, Ulysses S. Grant. The Civil War ends.
April 1865- President Lincoln is Shot and killed.

This is not everything from the civil war, but everything I've righten has really happened.
