villagers only work for some people

    there is an issue with villagers as we all know.

    they work for some but not others.

    when will it be fixed?

    The issue will most likely be fixed when the server is updated to 1.8, same with /ma j, /pets (Which is a donor only command) and maybe smitearena, I'm not sure thats what I think.

    I can also trade with villagers if you look here "Villager Trades" so yeah, x3    ​

    Maybe It has to do with versions.. If you are on 1.8 or 1.7.10

    Villagers operate under the right to refuse service to any patrons for any reason.

    Pretty standard for most shop keepers.

    Personal tests rules out:
    • Computer (tested on 2 different computers, no luck)
    • Versions (tested all versions no optfine from 1.7.2- 1.8 on 2 computers, no luck)
    • Internet connections (tested same as versions except used different internet connections with no luck)
    So the only thing that I couldnt test was if having 1.8 when the update that allowed 1.8 affected it or whether it is an issue with accounts.
    This problem isnt frustrating, i just wish I could use them to be independent :p

    Well it's like completely random who can use them and who can't it seems, for example I could use them on any client version I got on, cyp could use them, but terrick couldn't. So I have no idea at all why they are like that.

    I wonder if there is some sort of pattern is to predict who can and cannot use them...
    I am running low on fireworks I need more fireworks so I'm going to be bugging one of you to buy some for me at warp donor XD

    Well the plugin to allow people on 1.8 is probably messing with some server files... For some of us we can still trade and some can't. From experience as a server owner minor problems or messing up a JAR file can make issues for the server.
