this isnt about those, this is about our own heads lol. like my heads deadpool. i just want my head to put on my island and etc, nothing else.

if your talking about using a cyp skin and renaming the head "cypriotmerkz"..
remember, renamed item names are italicized(and usually unstackable..unless maybe all renamed exactly the same), we can tell if its renamed xD

would be senseless to do that anyways. (oh i have a "cyp" head yay) nah. noone would buy it, i guess you could /hat it or place on your island.. but it wouldnt be a legit head so thered be little use besides island decoration. the real cyp head would still be worth the same, while the fake cyp head would be worth squat, unless someone didnt know about the rename difference.

Support if:
1) It was about 100 diamonds for reasons said above, it would increase the price of diamond and will make the heads rarer to own.
2) If this is actually possible to add. It might be hard but I don't know a whole lot about plugins...
3) You had to sort this out with a mod. This way you cannot just change your skin like Bubble_kid said and get creeper heads, skeleton, zombie etc.

for number 3, that is true, like he could have a creeper head. but it would have his name on it
(Bubble_Kid's head) if he tried to rename it, the head would say (creeper head instead of creeper head)

so he cant exactly sell trade or give it if renamed, unless he wants to get banned for scamming.
i mean he can give it, long as the head has his name..he can place it on his island, or /hat it. thatd pretty much be it..



number 1, ties in with 3. for 100 diamonds.. people might think it was a legit creeper head and that the price dropped.
and the point of this is to add a cosmetic decoration, affordable to all. not make a new item that people can hoard and claim as a rare and etc.

90% of us cant afford 100 diamonds. it would be too out of reach, for something thats meant to be purely cosmetic (island decoration and hat, no trading selling or giving) if its gonna be 100 diamonds. how many non donor's get 100 diamonds? how many donor 10's, 25's or 50's? we dont get diamonds in our kits, and >most< of us dont have stuff to sell to get that many.

i mean, 100 diamond's just so i can place one, just one, Deadpool head on my island? nah lol.

number 2, yeah :/ that one is potentially a pain.

 

I agree 100 Diaz wtf like maybe 20-30 maybe but idk but this would only be easy for donners but unless the regulars sell a grip of cobble on hellblock they could have a hard time getting it so this is from a regular's prospective so......

and the heads that are considered as rare are only mob heads, and 3 player heads (cyp, crew, jeffciv)

player heads like ours wouldnt exactly be considered as rares (if released), like those heads are.. unless some of us were famous or well known on the server 0.0 (i mean, whod pay for my head noone knows me, though my head is cool lol)

One could not "fake" a cyp head, because, let's say I change my skin to Sethbling's, and place my head while I have a sethbling skin. Once I change it back to my old panda skin, the placed head will have my actual panda skin.

I don't see this being implemented.
It's a lot of new ideas, it would take a lot of thinking and figuring out rules.
The price is something that everyone is going to disagree on.
It would just be a lot of work overall.

 

It might take a long time but it might (prob not or at least for awhile) but it COULD be implemented it's just cyp and crew's decision and maybe we can ask people what the price should be and take the average (reasonable) price. But idk.

edit- i tested it, i changed my skin... my placed player head is still the same, with my new skin completely different. inventory and chest heads are also unchanged

As it stands, to set villager trades you go into an interface and set it up by placing the items into said interface. There is no way to even make this a reality to only give 'your' head via the villager plugin; None of us have any pull with the coder to get them to add it in either. It's completely impossible to do this sort of thing on .net without using a different plugin, which isn't likely to happen.
Also, making them illegal to trade would be far too difficult to do. As mentioned all players heads merely appear as 'skull item' in logs, so mods couldn't track them down. Not to mention if you lost them (someone took them out of a chest but we can't find them) there'd be no way to re-get them for you, as a rollback would create skulls not the player head.

TL;DR?
Villager plugin doesn't allow for the 'trade for only your head' thing. Too much trouble if heads griefed/stolen as heads don't get custom id in logblock.
