I heard about it from a friend. We started an island, and were very active on it for a few months. We had chat turned off though, and I didn't turn it on for a couple months. My friend, (tekomythmaster. a couple of you might have met him on ts through me.), sort of quit skyblock after about 3 months, but I stayed on.
I saw a how to become an admin video, so went searching for a cool server to try it on. It failed, because the chat turned "planet minecraft" to "planet krypton" and misty kicked me for "No yor not". I was trying to say "Hello, im from planet minecraft, I review servers.
I think I found out about it through youtube, I was watching (I think) twoawesomegamers and decided to try it out. At first I only played the single player map but after a few months I got bored and decided to try the server. I'll never regret that
One of my friends told me about it back in February. As soon as they told me I could get sugar cane on there I HAD to play on it... xD
Well I never got into skyblock because a friend told me or I watched a youtuber... I actually found skyblock when I was bored of survival mode. I had played cracked servers and I liked it, and when I bought full minecraft, I was bored and wanted to try legit servers. At first I was playing the single player map. And I liked the challenge. Then I found the forums, and saw the server stats thing and went on the actual server t check it out. I dont know how I got hooked, possibly because it was something new (and i get bored of things very quickly). But i guess I knew it was meant to be because playing at least and hour every day on the server since november 26th 2013 is a big deal for me xD tl;dr... i found out about net upon a google search for different survival maps.
I was in the mood to play skyblock, so I went on da interwebs and looked for skyblock servers and came across this one. I loved it so much I stayed
I was on the mineverse forums, and then someone started to talk about crew's other servers skyblock, and then that's how I got here.
I'm going to save all the detail for when I write my Skyblock story, but tl;dr I guess. My friend found skyblock.net on server lists back in August 2012 and I've been playing ever since.
I had the cracked version so did my friends we were searching through the server list for a cracked server but we tried skyblock.net and we couldnt join it. When i got an account i looked it up again and wrote org instead of net so it was a mistake.
Back in October 2012 I was looking for servers to join. I found skyblock, played with my friend etc. We kinda lost contact due to him moving so I got 10 donor with the diamonds we shared ;-;.
I heard of skyblock from youtube and i kept playing single player skyblock then found out there was an official server for it so i joined the server in december 2012
TAG - TwoAwesomeGamers on Youtube xD Kinda lol. I found Skyblock from them, and Org was the first server to come up when I did a search
