In response to this thread, I've realized that the staff team really does need an age requirement. In order to cut back on the levels of immaturity and increase the amount of functional staff members, I suggest that an age requirement of zero years old be implemented for all staff members.

First of all, the vast majority of staff above this age have shown maturity beyond their years, as well as the ability to form coherent sentences. Another key advantage of staff members above this age is the ability to communicate proficiently with others in the community; those under the age are incapable of communicating with others and lack functioning brains in general. Lastly, those above the age of zero have at the very least some knowledge of the server. It takes knowledge of the server to moderate it, and for those under the age specified it is physically impossible to gain or retain any information of the server; they would essentially be moderating blind, both metaphorically and literally, considering those of the age group's lack of functioning vision.

Using a fetus (a undeveloped infant human under the age of zero) as an example, I'll explain the drawbacks of having someone under the age of zero as a moderator versus the benefits of having someone above the age of zero.

• Fetuses have little to no vision. They would be unable to see anything they would be moderating, which is something necessary for being a moderator.
• Fetuses do not have functional arms. A fetus moderator would be unable to reach a mouse/keyboard, preventing the fetus from moderating.
• Fetuses cannot form coherent thoughts nor sentences, which is essential as a moderator to be able to do.
• Fetuses cannot communicate with those on the server.
• Fetuses do not own minecraft accounts.
• Fetuses are slow typists, with the faster ones averaging at an astonishing speed of under zero words per minute, matching their age.

Anyone over the age of zero:

• Can form coherent thoughts which is good for moderating.
• Can communicate with others.
• Can functionally use arms to reach keyboard/mouse.
• Can see; you need to be able to see what you're moderating in order to moderate.
• Most likely owns a minecraft account.

This being said, I encourage you all to discriminate against those under the age of zero. I hope you all realize why it would be disastrous for anyone below the age minimum to moderate, which is why I'm suggesting this requirement be put into place. #NoFetusMods!

Dude enough with the hate and arguing about that thread. Its one to point your opinion but its different to start making threads like this. The guy who made the thread had a point, its freaking annoying to deal with a mod that doesnt understand what u are saying or is just acting all childlike. The guy already got enough dislikes and disagrees on the thread he made just because people are biased like Rise stated on his reply on that thread. And for the last thing its just sad and kind of pathetic to use all this time to write a thread to make fun of the original thread maker.. I know that i troll people and act a bit of rude nowadays but it is just sad to see something like this from an ex moderator. You just make his point visible by making something like this..

 

In no way am I making fun of the original maker of the thread, and I apologize if it seems as though I am. I'm just sick of seeing discrimination against younger moderators simply because of their age. Maybe you haven't seen as much of it, seeing as though you're an older staff member, but enough is enough. I've seen plenty of older moderators act just as immature as the younger moderators, and age should not be a factor in judgement. Of course, there reaches a point where age does become a factor, such as 4, or 5, but that's never been an issue. Ultimately, I agree with you and Rise on the fact that, yes, some maturity does in fact come with age, but younger moderators have proven themselves time and time again and deserve to be on the staff team.

I've said this before but never actually told you guys but this won't happen and it's already too late if I was to go through with it as I already have moderators that are aged 12-18+
