~~ Your in-game name: Puf124 Which timezone are you in? EDT (Eastern Daylight Time), I live in Virginia. Which languages do you speak? Fluent English, and Okay Spanish. Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?) Yes, I found this out the other day; my cousin was using my account on her computer (how she found my password I will never know) and went on some abandoned islands and took their ice... I got banned for griefing because of her, basically. But other than that, I have never, nor am I planning to, scam, grief, or steal anything from anyone, and I haven't built on another's island without permission. I am really sorry for making the mistake of trusting my cousin, and I changed my password after that incident. It really surprised me and upset me. I'm really glad the banlist was reset. I really do love this server. Why do you think you should be a mod? I help people a lot, I know the rules of Skyblock well enough, I want Skyblock to be pretty much tragedy-free so more people will stay on and not rage quit (happened to me a few times, but I came back on the server after a day of being depressed xD), I don't want griefers, hackers, scammers, etc., I don't like cussing, I absolutely hate it when people cuss, Spam is annoying, I want to get rid of it. Other Things I'm Good At: Building I'm good at/like to help people rebuild their destroyed/griefed houses. Once I spent around an hour clearing a bridge from a griefer's island to another persons', and another hour later I had helped them repair the damage that was dealt. I would be happy to help anyone else that needs help as well, and I feel I could help them more by being a mod. Friendliness There are a lot of new people on the server that most mods don't pay attention to. As in the newbies don't know how to lock chests, or don't know about scammers, and the fact that you are not allowed to loot other islands. In fact the other day, someone asked for help, I teleported to them and it popped me up to a big island. The two users there somehow found the island (no bridges, so I'm not sure how they got to that island) and were wondering if they could loot it. I was the only one who replied to them. Had I not, someone's island would have been raided and I would've felt bad. But that sort of thing I enjoy doing, and I was really glad those people asked instead of just jumping in. I'm hoping I could prevent issues as I did then more and more. Helping Others Out I usually always try to be the one who gives the newbies the essential things they need that they tend to run out of: Ice, Food, Saplings, Obsidian (For Lava) etc. They are very thankful and I'm happy to help them out. Dealing With the "Bad Guys" Most of the griefers, scammers, and hackers don't pay attention to the server and just decide to troll people. When they don't pay attention they think "Donors" are intimidating, because they talk in color, can fly, and have a prefix. But some people aren't that dim-witted. They tend to know everything about a server, and I feel like if I became a Mod these people would respect me more, or I could just put an end to most of the smarter ones, leaving the easier ones, well, easier to stamp out. How long can you be active on the server every day? Since I'm busy with school but don't have much Homework yet this is my Current "Up-Time" ~ Mondays Through Thursdays ~ These are School Days with School the day after as well. That means the "Go To Bed Early" Speech. Estimated Time(s): 6pm-8pm Friday ~ A School Day, cutting off the first half but leaving the rest of the day free. Estimated Time(s): 5pm-9pm Saturday ~ The one day that you have the whole day to yourself. Estimated Time(s): 10am-1opm Sunday ~ This time you have a lot of the day but then it's the Homework you always forget... Estimated Time(s): Until 3pm Do you have any past experience as a moderator? Yes, I've been a mod on a few smaller servers before, and I've been a chat-mod on one server, as well. I enjoyed the experience and want to try going for a bigger server and I figured I'd try my favorite server; Skyblock! It would be the perfect chance to try and make that leap of faith. ~~ It's worth a shot. ;-; And sorry about that ban thing. I nearly exploded into 50 billion pieces when I found out ~~ [EDIT] I added a whole bunch. Details are everything! I hope those of you who didn't like it could at least re-read it again and give me more constructive criticism, and tell me about all of the errors I've made. I'll go back and fix them.
I like what you did to your app, I really do. You might want to try add some colour to make it prettier, but it's pretty good. As I am not active on net, at all, I can't tell whether you're helpful and active or not, so I'll let the others here state that. 50% support for now. I am really looking forward to how your app with evolve, and you together with it. Good luck!
^ this seems like an alt account 1 message on this mod app, last seen on this app and made yesterday.
Yes. My friend on Skyblock joined the forums and supported after I helped her on Skyblock. I would be suspicious too... Sorry. And thanks
Well well. I can see, that you mean everything in your application, but maybe you should be around for a little bit more, especially on forums, seeing as you have only a couple of messages. In game, I don't know how long you've been playing, but I suggest you get very familiar with rules, also the way a Mod should act in common situations. Mods don't repair griefs, they request a rollback for them, allowing them to help other players, not fix griefs. For the application part, I like it, but it could use a couple more finishing touches. This wasn't meant to sound in a good way, I'll be watching you and good luck
I understand that already. But I like to help people, too. Banning the person might be satisfying but helping someone fix the damage would feel even better.
