So I've recently taken an interest in building rollercoasters in Minecraft, and I thought I'd share some with you!

Ok so this first one is the first (real) Minecraft rollercoaster I ever made. Its a classic wooden rollercoaster that's about 2 minutes long:

This second one is a mega-coaster that I'm pretty impressed about because it doesn't use any powered rails
( ) Ik, ik, you're mind is blown. It doesn't have a name yet, so post suggestions below! Anyway, its about 1 1/2 minutes long:

And finally, the moment you've all been not waiting for! Ladies and gentlemen, my third and final rollercoaster!

Being from New England, I decided to make a representation of a rollercoaster from Six Flags New England. For those of you have been there, you may know the Flashback? (You have no idea what I'm talking about :dead) Well, I'm gonna try to explain it as thoroughly as possible: So it basically starts by going slowly backwards up the first hill. You then drop and ride forwards through a big, winding track, and then you start going slowly forwards up another hill. You then drop and go back through the track backwards. (If you read this far, you're awesome. Or you have no life. You choose! ). Anyways, here it is:

Ok...

 

You know, I've always wanted to build a roller coaster that is all fine and dandy until around halfway there when the track breaks and we all go plummeting to our unfortunate and unfounded deaths.

 

You should experiment with Railcraft. Probably still with 1.6.4 Forge, but it adds amazing (and some deadly tracks.

 

D-did you say deadly?

 

Yes, the Fast tracks. Expensive, fast, and explosive if built wrong.

 

Some things are great in mc... Others not so much. They look cool, but it's still just riding a minecart. I suggest roller coaster tycoon 1-3

 

I've tried making rollercoasters before in Tekkit 3 with Railcraft, they were fun to ride, but that was back when I was a noob and they were ugly.

 

The fun part about building MC rollercoasters for me is really just building them, not necessarily riding them. I prefer irl rollercoasters.

 

Irl coasters all the way.

I already have all the roller coaster tycoon 3 packs, inc. the soaked and wild pack, and am plannung on getting the rct world released next year
