When players register on the forums, they don't always use their IGN (In-Game Name). I am suggesting that someones IGN be visible under the "Information" tab on their profile. That way when I search for someones IGN on the forums, it will bring me to their profile. Please let me know what you think.
It would be nice addition to the forums, so you don't always have to ask people their IGN. However the xenoforums is not custom made for skyblock. I'm sure this could be added, but I doubt it is worth the effort for Cyp and Crew to add this, when you could simply ask the person for their ign. And most of the time the person's username is their ign.
Support, I'd at least want it to be there nickname (If they had one) Edit: When I say their nickname I mean there actual forum name, not the idea you're talking about. But still I'd support.
Oh. I thought that it was something admin could do by pressing a few buttons and voila! Currently I'm trying to trade wool with someone, but I don't know their IGN. I pressed the "Start a Conversation" button and asked them for the information. I'm just impatient. What if they are in-game right now?
It is true that Xenforo is not built specifically for these forums but that's where add-ons come into play. They can change almost any aspect of the forums to allow a wide variety of customizations. But this is actually already built into xenforo and would take less than a minute to implement. Here is a proof of concept on my forums:
