    It doesn't seem as much of a racist comment than an attention seeking stunt to test the patience/response of mods. It seems to me the goal here was to annoy and it was accomplished. If some players find it offensive and the "offending" player refuses to stop even after being asked to stop, then it can easily be taken as a sign of disrespect.

    Ok 1. Swim you are making such a huge deal about something so small .
    2. I dont recall the exact kick msg but if I read it correctly it was something like " Could be taken as racist" or something like that . So its not that we found it racist but that some people might of . Just a precaution .

    It not racist in any way shape or form. However it can be racist depending on how you use it in a sentence. But if you were to say my best friend is black, I believe it is not racist at all.

    If someone finds this racist for some reason. Maybe it's time for them to grow up.
    Also it wasn't to annoy. But I just wanted to see if mods REALLY did find this racist. They did, so I made a thread about it.

    Your term of "abuse" is not correct or proper. I had a reason to mute you, so there for it's not abuse. You were not listening and disrespecting the fact I had asked you to stop more than once.

    This entire "Test" was uncalled for. The mods' goal is to make the game experience better for everyone. Even if we don't personally find it offensive, we will take action if enough players find it offensive. Who are we to judge the players whether they need to "Grow up" as you say? There are young children on this server and we are not going to tell them to "grow up". It's the older players who intentionally try to irritate other players who need to "grow up" and act like role models, taking care of their younger peers and being sensitive to their differing backgrounds and needs.

    Good point Kerahna. There are a lot of people who are very young on the server. But maybe they can learn the lesson that saying "black people" or any race at that matter- is not racist. And in my opinion this "test" was called for. I think that if someone gets banned for saying this. This needs to be checked into.

    So you're saying, we can't have our own opinion against the mods? That if we defend our own opinion we will receive a mute? I think that's called abuse, if you ask me.
    Funny, the only people that disagreed were mods, and non-mods agreed.

    Dew why did you tell him to stop if he wasn't doing anything wrong? And kerahna I was online when it happend. The only comments on the subject that didn't come from mods were "It's not racis".

    He shouldn't have been banned, If he wasn't cooperating the best would've just been a mute considering saying "Black people" isn't racist by the opinion of African American people.
