1st suggestion would be to include a title template for buying an selling threads that gave a player's timezone (GMT, EST ect...). I see a lot of trades never happening because one player lives in Australia and the other in the UK (just an example) and they never manage to meet up. As a consequence this may mean that a player does not bid after seeing a player's timezone when the would have otherwise. BUT, I think it will increase the success rate of the bids that do get accepted. 2nd suggestion if the above cannot be implemented would be that players include it in their auction text to infirm others just so there is a better chance of the trade taking place.
Yes please. I have been waiting to complete a trade with someone for the past month and it's very hard as I am in a different time zone. This would make the trades easier to complete. Although this can break up some trades and bids, it would mean both players don't have to spend many hours looking for each other. Support.
I like this idea. Also, I think it would be cool for a mod to help with time-zone difficult trades. For example, I could show a mod a copy of the trade agreement, then place the item I'm trading in a chest. I could give the mod the coords of the chest. The other player could do the same. The mod could trade the items for us. Of course this would only be in circumstances where we have tried to trade for awhile but couldn't get our times to match up.
My old add-on for thread stencils should still be installed and i believe it had an option for thread titles so it would be fairly simple to code automatically adding in the time zone So.... Support
