you should just click report and say spambot

 

If a forum has a lot of traffic, bots will more than likely target it.

Not a hacker, not a person but a robot. They go to places that are set and make accounts. They then post their advertisement and we ban them.

They make accounts regularly. I ban about 5 or so a day, and delete/archive their threads. Btw players: please click the report button, don't just tag one mod, since when you report it goes to all mods

 

A hacker writes a script.
This script runs automatically, and makes accounts on forums.
There will either be entirely random words or stuff about muscle gain, weight loss, stuff like that mostly.
Although, I saw a really convincing one in the Intro section the other day...
The title sounded like an intro, but it had a link to a website and was random enough it was still an obvious spambot.
Point is, these accounts are not real people.

They usually aren't giving links to install a virus. Usually they are trying to gain profit by advertising there company's product.

 

So its just someone that wants to advertise to gain profit creates the spambot to advertise their product?
