So, I was trying to spread the word of peace throughout the Teamspeak community when I got kicked for being "racist". Just letting you know, this symbol "卐" means peace and was originally the symbol for Buddhism. Adolf Hitler then made the symbol into the "Nazi symbol" that most people know today. I was kicked on Teamspeak for saying this (I may have spammed it). I feel if anything, I should have been kicked for spamming, not being "racist". Have a nice day. Definition:
Is this offensive to Jews? It can be offensive, honestly, there was no need for a report and sorry if it was incorrect I'm not very educated with that time period.
Notice how the entry on Nazis specifically says clockwise, while the entry on Buddhism says counterclockwise. Yours were clockwise, leaving room for interpretation. If you were truly trying to spread peace, you could have at least used the counterclockwise one to avoid any misconception or accidentally offending someone.
It was only a kick. It was spam. It is racist to some. Swastika = Nazi (as well as that Buddhist thing you mentioned) Nazi = Racist. Kick = Justified.
The way I see this, you were spamming as you said yourself, which is kickable. Next, you post Swastikas, which can be seen as offensive to those who don't know what it means. Overall, your kick was justified and there is no need to "spread the word"
Lots of people, including me, probably don't know it's a Buddhist symbol. The Nazi Swastica has clockwise right angles whereas the Buddhist one can be clockwise or anti-clockwise! However, even if you did it anti-clockwise,people might no notice it's the other way or you would just get kicked for spamming probably!
Just don't use symbols that can be interpreted in more than one way to those who don't know. This seems like you just wanted to catch a mod out rather than worry about peace. Being smart also does not win favours. You were kicked not banned. Be sensitive, that is all there is to it.
At first it was used as a peace symbol. Then the nazis tarneshed it. Unfortunately the symbol really is ruined.
If you admit you should have been kicked anyway, what's the point of this? Now, for my bit on the swastika. No matter what it used to mean, or still means to some groups of people, MOST of the people in the world are going to see that as a symbol of Hitler, the Nazis, racism, and oppression. Point is, almost everyone will always see that symbol as a negative thing. And we can't change that. So anyone using that symbol will be asked to stop, through kicks.
