Hi all! My IGN is Cheesepuff17. I have been a part of Noobcrew's servers for about 1 year now. Since then I have been hooked and recently found Skyblock.org. Although I love skyblock.net, I have really enjoyed my time on Skyblock.org so far. Then I thought, "Why don't you make the experience EVEN BETTER by creating a Moderator Application." Although I've been playing .org for about a Week now I am VERY familiar with the rules and try my best to help at all times. Now, lets get started!

I speak perfect English (obviously) but am learning French. I know a little German after visits to Germany.

I have never been banned on Skyblock.org
Why do you think you should be a mod?
I think I should be a Mod because I love helping people. I always try my best to support and help people in skyblock. I am very sensible and mature but like to have fun. However, I do know when to stop. I know the rules of skyblock like the back of my hand and always do as much as I can to help others know the rules too. I am a reasonably fast typist so I can reply to quite a few people at once. When there's illegal things taking place I always help to stop it. An example of this is an Illegal Auction. As soon as an illegal item comes up I tell the owner of the auction to stop it by doing /auction cancel or /auc cancel. I think that I am very mature for my age and I am a very enthusiastic person. I like to talk to others and have a conversation with them. So far I have made a few friends. These include Bdarkslayer Joben333 Hotdog801 NekoEmmi and various other people. As you can see there is a mixture of staff and regular players. I believe that I'm quite an easy person to talk to. I am also very active on the forums as I check to see what notifications I have every day. This means that I could handle reports, bans or various other things.
What qualifications do you have?
Intelligent - I am one of the cleverest people in my year group and I am getting some great grades on my pathway to my exams in a couple of years.
Funny - I am quite an amusing person and one of those people that you can have a good time with. However I do know when to stop in certain areas.
Kind - I am a kind person because I have quite a calm temper. If I am angry it is probably because something has really upset me.
Helpful - I always do my best to help others in need and can also apply assistance to other members of the staff team.
Mature - Although I am 12 I am very mature. I have never had a Detention at school. My teachers rely on me to take notes around.
Sensible - I rarely get told off at school. I have loving friends who are a big influence on my behaviour. People may say I'm too young to be a Moderator but I think I can do it
Honest - When I do something wrong (everyone makes mistakes) I always admit it. I have the ability to admit something even if I have the urge not to admit it.


How long can you be active on the server everyday?
On average on weekdays, I can be on for about 1-3 hours every day. However on weekends I can be on for at least 3-4 Hours. I am very active on Skyblock

How long have you been playing skyblock.org?
I have been playing actively on Skyblock.org for about 9 Days but I've been playing other Noobcrew/CypriotMerkz servers for about a year

Do you have any past experience as a moderator?
I have been a Moderator on 1 small server. Sadly this server is no longer available. I was also a "Moderator" on a friend's realms server to get used to the commands.

I think that although Cheesepuff is newish to .org, he's experienced on .net and has been on .org a lot recently so I don't doubt that he's here to stay! (I hope so, I would hate for all my hours chopping those logs to be wasted...) I definitely think, personality wise, Cheese would make a good moderator; he's always friendly and chatty, especially to non donors which is important (they can tend to get ignored easily just for not standing out...).

I think you're quite young but you seem to be a smart guy and mature for your age. I was impressed by the detail and literacy level of your application and I think that having a young chatty moderator in the European time zone could be a bonus to the server. I have some doubts; I am inclined to think that you ought to have been on the server for longer before applying as a mod, especially to pick up on the nuances between the .net and .org rules, as this causes a lot of confusion for new players especially those coming from .net. However you've put so many hours in within the short time that I've known you, that you may have gained as much experience of the server as some of the players who've been on the server for longer, but less frequently. I will support your application for tMod because I think that you have a lot of potential and well, isn't that what the t in tMod is for?

I also want to point out that I noticed that you tagged me as a friend (sweet of you) but I didn't comment earlier, as I didn't wish to show favouritism just because of that. However, I decided today that I wanted to read and comment on mod apps, and I came back to this independently. Good luck!

 

Thank you for your time in writing this friendly opinion. I will agree that I haven't been on the server for very long but, like you say, I have a lot of experience before. I have learned the differences between net and org and also memorised them. By the way, I will not be leaving the server unless something major in my life occurs. Thank you! I need to point out one thing. You tagged bdark (Who is a mod) Tagging mods in mod apps are illegal.

That was put in the "Why do you think you should be a mod" section. As for support still deciding but thought I'd tell you.
