So basically, because of the excess of money, there is more money on the server, because of farmed money. Yet with this farmed money, it is making the economy worse, because of the excessive money, and money being of less value. Selling and buying from other players, keeps this money in the cycle through the players, and more is being generated through selling to Admin shop. Therefore, adding buy able glass/sand in the shop, creates a place to dump money, and therefore raising the monetary value of skybucks.

But with this new money "dump" this does not solve the problem of iron, redstone, and grass, still being expensive and "rare" because that is the reason, of why the economy is crashing.

    More farms=more money
    More farms=less iron
More money+less iron= more expensive iron
    Sand/glass=less money

So with that, iron, is still short, and will still affect the economy,

There is a limit to how many profit farms the server can support because the total usage is divided between them. My farm has become less popular because of the competition. When this limit is reached, iron etc will stabilize. It's already happening.

Well no Iron became rare because a dude was paying over $400 when it was only worth $150 to build a full iron block rocket.. since he had a lot of cash from selling things on .net since he's very very rich..

I believe it was HenChris who pointed out that no MC economy can be truly stable, but to put it in perspective I'm referring to the market that was semi-stable with iron at 200 from the beginning of April this year to about 7 or 8 weeks ago.

I'm not so conceited to think I'm the only thing that's ever effected this market :) I'm just taking ownership of the most recent change.

To support your argument, when I saw iron at 400-450 and started offering 500 at my warp, that's when everyone started saying it was 500. To some degree it seems like iron costs whatever I say it does, but that only seems to work when I raise the price.

As I have stated before, iron is best measured in the time it takes to get it. Highroller is a good mark. A stack of iron is about 1 month of kits as a highroller. Since our economy has so few participants, a motivated jerk such as myself or zombie (if we're talking about warp rocket which I though was wool btw) can easily buy up a few years of iron and throw the whole thing out of wack.

Also, when I say that iron is stabilizing, I mean that I observe auctions for single ingots at 400 ending without bids with 25 users logged on. This says that the demand is decreasing and beginning to fall back down to where the average user isn't forced to pay Tribal 800/ingot just to make a few pistons for a better cobble gen.

    ALSO:
I observed a nifty plugin on a different server that may help, but we'd again need Cyp to do it, so doubtful... The way their adminshop was set up was that you could only buy what was sold to the shop and the buy/sell values were raised and lowered based on how much traffic there was with a given item. Sell was always less than buy, but when people sold a lot the price would drop and when they bought a lot it would go up. I don't know the name of the plugin as I was only there for an hour or so, but if anyone wants I can go back and find out.

For the record, I totally don't think Cyp will add this new plugin as it would require a total redesign of the shop and it would throw the whole economy into chaos for a few weeks while it found a sweet spot. Frankly, I doubt he's read this or cares if he has.

Prove me wrong and comment, Cyp. What DO you think? What WILL you do? I don't mind though, he has bigger fish to fry and I'd guess that his plan is to wait and let org stabilize on it's own-- which will probably happen eventually.

EDIT: According to zombie, his rocket took about 310 iron blocks. This is a little over 3.5 years worth of iron for a highroller.

I wouldn't say economy is dry.
It's a very complex system which can be essential to have at least some knowledge of.
That is if you were refering to economy when you said dry interests.

I think they should add iron and grass and glass into admin shop for a lower price so it stablizes.

I can't disagree more with grass and iron in the shop. It would ruin the economy as these are the only real renewable and consistent sources of asset.

If they add Iron in the adminshop, they should really increase the amount of Iron in the kits

the only way to solve the bad economy is to have a reset and i dont think many people would vote for that.
