I think that there should be a rule where u can report a player for donating a rank for you. I know it may sound ridiculous but it should only be allowed on the other players agreement since it is known to be used to ban others for chargebacking. I dont know if it should be a temp or a perm ban, thats up to you guys. But this would reduce the amount of chargebacks on the server. Also when someone is repirted the money would be refunded to them no matter with the reason on why he donated it for someone. I know it might kill the element of suprising a friend with a donation, but i still think that it would be useful ~Sev
I think people shouldn't be afraid to go on the forums and use the report section if they receive a donation they didn't ask for. The problem mods wont know who did it if it's random, so we would need admins to check where the donation came from. So I dont really know what will happen. Thats all I can think of
I know that u need admins for it but for me it would be kind of top priority since crew loses money per every chargeback so I'm pretty sure that they could find a motivation to do it ;D
One hopes I just wish it was possible to see who did it so we can ban but yeah thats the only problem I see.
How common is this? I have no qualms with this idea. I just am surprised it is a common enough issue to warrant this suggestion.
I kinda doubt this ever happens... If it did happen, I don't think the mods would be like 'not a rule, too bad, keep your unwanted donor status'. Then again, since only cyp can correct donor issues you'd probably be stuck with it no matter what the rule. In conclusion, I don't think this is an issue worth supporting or not supporting as it would almost never come up and wouldn't really be enforceable.
