i dont even read peoples mod apps anymore i just support people if i know that they would do good in the job
If someone trys to sell/buy a bucket, at least three people say that it is illegal, it's quite ridiculous
And yes, greenbeans do get noticed if they are active in chat, don't be discouraged by the color of your name! I love it when people answer question in chat, and I don't mind it when multiple people say the same thing - it just reinforces the info and ensures they see it.
I'm not sure if what you're saying is true cause I'm a green bean who's been playing skyblock for over 2 years and practically nobody ever notices or remembers me even though I try to chat with people
It used to be me, robbybigc, and a few others. We would literally dominate the chat with speed typing. Now that we are both moderators, someone needs to pick up the slack...
I'm that few others But seriously. I've had people tell me to log stuff, or to request a rollback, or how to go about things. That's not necessary, we can do our jobs. Remember that you can't see kicks...And we go through a lot of kicks each day. So there's no need to personally torture people over what they've done wrong, we most likely kicked them already and explained to them what they did wrong.
princessnerd3, MicahVanderman and I are dominating the hellblock chat . I admit it gets annoying when all three of us answer a question at the same time.
Can't agree more. Begging a mod to tp to you to show them a grief you found or scolding at people for breaking rules isn't helping. Being uptight and acting like a robot who starts scolding at people who curse won't help at all. Some things are meant for mods to handle and some anybody can handle. If a new person comes online and says they are selling sand it's good to let them know it's illegal, or if someone asks how to start a new island it's great to help them and explain how. Yelling at someone who said f*** isn't helping.
This is true, And another point, they ONLY help when theres a MOD online. Other times, they just ignore what any green beans do. I mean, if its like a ridiculous requests like "Could I please have a diamond?" (Spamming) And things like "Could you god a few items for me for free?" (Then you find a whole DC of items wanting to be godded) you could ignore them. Few people, like Trombone and StrayanPenguin (Before he god mod) were helping others EVEN if the mods weren't online :/
AGREE AGREE AGREE! Players who tell me how to do my job really :Lbored::lol::lol::lol:. If I didn't know how to moderate then I would not be a supermod
Regarding players asking for rollbacks, please don't request a rollback from me directly if another mod has already checked the grief! They will put in a request if they need one. When you request one from me, I have no way to tell if you've already been manually refunded or actually need a rollback, so I can't do it. If no other mod has checked it yet, you can feel free to ask me to take a look and then I will ban and roll back as needed. The problem is only when another mod has already checked and banned - it is their responsibility to request the rollback and I cannot accept requests from players.
I've even seen players nick themselves as (t)Mod[Name here]. Too far. If you don't have the prefix, don't act like you do. Leave the moderating to the moderators. If a player asks for gelp, that's fine, but when you start critiquing others for breaking chat rules when 99% of the time we've already kicked the player, you just look silly. That's all I have to say.
The following thing happens multiple times per day: NoobMCplayer: lolololoololakjgsbkajfkakbfeh "LE RANDOM MESSAGE" "LE RANDOM MESSAGE 2" Player NoobMCPlayer kicked for "spam". OverlyHelpfulPerson: NOOB. STOP THE SPAMMM. OmgSPAM: Please please do not SPAM! Point is, we can see the kick messages, you can't. And by that point, the guy was gone already. And now you guys telling "NoobMCPlayer" not to spam are in fact causing spam over an issue that has been resolved.
