Lol. I didn't lose much tbh. Like only a stack of bonemeal and some saplings... The thing that I would like to say though is this:

So, I was editting my island and moving chests around. I went to my tree farm and broke the chest and the minute all my stuff fell out, BAM!!! [CLAG] Removed 175 entities.

O_O The EXACT second after I broke the chest, CLAG happened and deleted the entities.
I dont really care about what I lost but...

What I think is that before CLAG happens there should be a warning like: "All entities will be clear in T-Minus, 10 seconds." Or whatever... There should be a warning when CLAG is about to happen because I was aw-struck when I that happened. I was like "wtf?" xD It was so perfect timing when my items were cleared off the floor I was so surprised, I laughed as hell...

Then it struck me... Maybe there should be a warning? A warning to warn us when CLAG is about to happen.

 

Ikr, ive had the same happen to me either it was in the mob arena. Some guy died and dropped leather/chain armour and i was the only one running for it and then it went *pft*.... [CLAG] removed 156 entitles. SOOOO annoying :grum::ah

ive being on other servers and their has being the same plugin but warnings - they need warnings on this server too

Yeah, I support this as well, it's highly annoying.

 

I was also thinking for some other reasons why we should get a warning system for CLAG:

1 reason would be when trading. What if we were trading like a bunch of iron for some grass and both of us lost our items due to clag in mid trade?

The reason I said a 10 second warning is because if its a "1 minute warning" you'd most likely forget about it due to the massive spam in chat and all the events happening cuz of the huge amount of ppl on the server. With a 10 second warning, you will see the warning easily as in 10 seconds tehre cant be that much spam in chat and you wont forget it.

Clag also got rid of ALL of my item frames in my mass storage area . I lost about 2 stacks of item frames but at least I didn't put anything in there yet. Theway2cool is it possible to modify CLAG to leave item frames on the wall?

 

I've said it a thousand times before, I don't modify plugins that aren't mine unless I personally know the developer and have been given permission.

I listened to a guy tell me a story about how he had all these item frames, and he had like a diamond pickaxe, and he had an iron sword, and all these other cool things, but then, CLAG cleared them all and he lost them. He then tried to go to the mods and all of the devs who refused to help, out of what he claims is "some sense of selfishness", but they said they could not help due to "not having picture evidence or video evidence, therefore, we cannot help you and restore your items".

As we can see, CLAG is a huge problem, and a warning should be in place. I think that a mod should venture out of their comfort zone and edit the CLAG plugin. I know that the plugin is designed to help the server by Clearing LAG, but this is starting to get out of hand.

I myself lost one item on a trade. I had a loyal customer that I was god enchanting for for merely 1 grass block per item. I threw the iron sword back, and he picked it up. After he received the item, as I trusted him to do, he threw the 1 grass block at me. I was about to pick it up, and CLAG cleared it.

So let's solve this horrible issue, and keep people happy.

CLAG is just as bad on .org too. It loooves to take Chickens. And The Chicken room isn't much of a way to get eggs, since everyone just slaughters them.
