In regards to what you guys are saying, all that I see is the people that I mentioned acting all hurt saying that they can do what they want and people that actually understand where I am coming from are agreeing because they feel the same way. JUST TO MENTION I DON'T CARE WHAT ANY OF YOU THINK OF ME ANYMORE. New players are just defending themselves because they have no clue about what I am talking about. Skyblock is not even skyblock anymore I mean skyblock is about making a cobble gen and using your stone pic to try and mine enough cobble to get that one grass of iron. When is the last time you have done this? For me, I would say around 6-7 months. All people are doing now are just acting all important on the forums because you are a net T-Mod :O . At first i would like to say that i mean no disrespect towards anyone with this. For me the server has turned from great to awful. For one, the former community was far more friendly than the one we have here. For example when i write this, i can expect someone to rate this negative and just start to whine about my opinion on this. In the old times people would just give me a constructive debate on the matter. And for the mod team, i used to have a huge amount of respect for the whole mod team. Then tmod got implemented, now imo max 50% of the players who get tmod deserves it ._. keeper_of_flame is probably one who fully deserved it. Ps, u remind me of darkie and u are epic lol. But still the tmod ruined my respect for the new mods (again no offence meant) in the old days it was a huge deal if someone got moderator on the server and he had earned peoples respect before he had the mod title, also everyone knew the player who got promoted unlike now when 90% of the players have never even heard of a tmod even tho they play on the same freaking server..
Well 7 months isn't that long but okay. You do realise that we all have school/work, chores, family to see and other things. In fact there are people that do twice the amount of work IRL than you. Also you get Active Member I believe when you hit 60 trophy points, maybe 69. What I dislike about the chat is that mainly the higher ranked donors are messing around all the time. Yes I understand you like to talk, but the reason you rarely see my talk in game is cause I don't like to seek attention, and I just /msg someone if i have something to say. I'm not just someone that doesn't talk, I just only type to the people who want to see what I am saying. Some/most people would not give a crap if I was lagging or if I just got "married" or something. I don't bother telling people unless it's through /msg and they need to know. If people want to mess around and talk I have no problem with that just do it in Skype or something. That is why I see so many green beans' problems get missed in the chat, because the higher donors have their pretty colours and just all comment small sentences and sometimes single words. Sometimes I would /msg someone that is a high ranked donor a question and they would rather continue talking about some random thing than help. Yes not all Skygods mess around and just spam the chat. I know some skygod's do enjoy helping people and just talk to people through Skype and /msg. Also it's not just Skygods that spam the chat, some others do join in too. Lastly I did not mean to offend anyone but that is my opinion on the chat.
I'm getting old. I have to agree with sala that the server is always going to change. If it's better or worse, that's your opinion. Yes old players are leaving, it's natural. Old players are old. They'll have to leave at some point. If you dont like the community as it is, you can always make a new community. The general trend of skyblock falls upon all of the players, not you and a bunch of buddies. On a different note... ~ Meow ~

I love the community but there are a couple groups that are irritating. I'd love for there to be donor chat and global chat. I'd personally spend all my time away from fellow donors in the global chat because the greenbeans are most interesting to me. They are the ones with all the new ideas and hopes and ambitions. Also they tend to be more fun to build with, more appreciative, and do better trades. Also the donor circlejerk in chat gets on my nerves a lot. A chat is great but I'd rather talk about the game than read mindless spam in deliberate bad English or about how they hate their life, or 13 year olds flirting. Kinda like how discussion and off-topic have just been separated, I'd like something like that for ingame chat.
I don't want them on my ignore list. Occasionally I need them for a big trade, or they hire me to build.
Yes I am fed up with the amount of kids that are flirting with each other. It's quite sad that people have to flirt with others over the internet.
Chat these days is all about donors, I'm a greenbean on .Net (but quite wealthy) and trying to sell stuff in chat is nearly impossible.
